falkirkbandit
I'm looking forward to this one, i hope the weather stays kind to us, its howling a gale up here, it woke me up twice through the night, at least the sun is oot though *prays his Stan Burza hoodie has arrived too*
Icicle
Sadly I will miss this due to other commitments. However, great idea, interesting teams, wonderful PR with reductions. Hope it all goes well & smoothly.
banditsfan99
Weather in Berwick is bright and brezzy,we had a bit of rain earlier this morning but thats blowing through. The forecast is for today to be bright amd dry but its going to be windy.Hopefully this will be a good meeting and its a good idea from our promotion to let the younger riders to have a meeting of their won. Don't think just "windy" covers it Screm, "blowing a gale" would be more appropriate. Still, at least it means the track will dry quicker ! Looking forward to this tonight. banditsfan99
There are 16 riders named as the Stars of tomorrow is in the second half and the list includes everyone en bloc. 7 man teams in main event. Makes sense now - cheers Lawrence.

screm
A good meeting once it got going, several riders caught the eye.I will leave off the ones with experience of our track,to that end I thought Howarth,Richardson and Wrathall all did well and it would be worth keeping an eye on these riders for future teams. Nice gesture by the promotion for everyone to have a free drink on them when we were waiting for a replacement ambulance.

samsplint
the problem with the ambulance was the fact that the ref was a prat
Fromafar
the problem with the ambulance was the fact that the ref was a prat Correct ,actually 2 refs and 1"Trainee" with not an ounce of common sense between them. BUT technically correct as all refs have to be .When they feel like it Well done to the promotion on an entertaining meeting ran very smoothly after the delay. Was impressed with Kyle Howorth and Scott Richardson. screm
the problem with the ambulance was the fact that the ref was a prat The rumour last night was it was another promoter who put in a complaint when his team visited Berwick recently that lead to the delay,we have had this ambulance in these circumstances for a while without any problems untill last night. As it was said last night the equipment inside the ambulance is first rate so there arent any rider saftey issues but the referee wasnt happy so there was a delay. On the meeting, decent meeting with good races. For the home team,Blair and McPhail were good but they experience the Sheilfield track every week so you would expect that.Jamie Courtney was in the action with a couple of wins but I thought it was Scott Richardson and Kyle Howarth who caught the eye, both riders have had either little or no track experience but they looked good particularly Richardson who made some good overtakes. Good meeting and a worth while excercise for the promotion who might just have seen a rider or two for the future.
Goldmember06
Good nights racing with one or two riders showing a liking for SFP. Also good to see Dale Lamb last night.
falkirkbandit
I enjoyed that last night, some good racing, especially Richardson's pass in heat 10, good meeting though, hope it carry's on in the future. I certainly didn't mind the delay at the start, got caught up chatting to Screm, Alan and Andy etc to pass the time, after seeing the recent double headers at Armadale, i had every faith they'd get through the racing in an hour and a half if there were no incidents. A wonderful gesture by the promotion to offer a free drink but i didn't take them up on it, i don't mind paying a £1 when its even cheaper than normal, there must be someting wrong with me And thanks to DRK for sorting out my Burza hoodie, and Maureen for keeping the money for it for me for the last few weeks, it shall be worn round the pubs of Falkirk with pride in the close season
