DutchGrasstrack
Martin Smolinski (2010 SGP Reserve) was trying some longtrack racing this season... and now he's going to try Ice Racing too lol. He will race his first meeting in the B Group at the International meeting in Steingaden on the 6th of January. The A group lineup for Steingaden looks very promosing too... Zorn, Serenius, Stellingwerf, Aakko, Simon, etc.

isjawa
Anyone want to bet AGAINST Franky winning this outright for the third year in a row? My bet is Stefan Svensson, he beat both Franky and Bauer on very bad ice in funasdalen.
Sotonian
This also means that René Stellingwerf or either Sven Holstein will race his first season as full GP rider! . Is this the same guy who races 500cc sidecars on the grass?

Ghostwalker
Tommy Flyktman have decided to go back to riding with a Swedish license. f-s-p
Tommy Flyktman have decided to go back to riding with a Swedish license. He have been riding with a Finnish license the past 4 season. It was practically common knowledge in Finland that he would miss the season alltogether. Then it was only to miss wc qualis and ride domestic meetings. Now it seems he's just changing his license and is (I'm told) nominated for the U25 EC as a swede... This is not a joke. Harri Saari has presented an invitation through Yamaha's Finnish importer to Valentino Rossi to arrive to Finland for an ice racing test session. Everything is sorted and ready, The Doctor only needs to arrive for the test. World's-level equipment is waiting for him. If you want to do something for the sport you love, why not do it BIG! Merry Christmas to all, over and out! Edited December 24, 2009 by f-s-p
