iris123
Line up for tomorrows semi finals......i am off very early in the morning to make the 12 start for the first semi.....fingers crossed for good weather, motorbike that doesn't play up and two good meetings. Can't see past the 2 Mikkels, but will be interested to see some of the other riders on show.Pity none of the Russians or Ukranians are coming. But Germany has a representative.Güstrow rider Dittner. There is a limit put on Denmark as to how many riders can qualify for the final, which has both good and bad points to it.Will also be an international meeting in Vojens on monday. But i don't think it will be a Denmark v Sweden test as our German representative is also taking part..... Semi 1: Kacper Woryna, Polen Jesper Scharff, Danmark Mark Frimodt Pedersen, Danmark Mike Trzensiok, Polen Jacob Thorsell, Sverige Kenni Nissen, Danmark Kasper Lykke Nielsen, Danmark Freddie Broms, Sverige Villi Mattila, Finland Sam Jensen, Danmark Mikkel B. Jensen, Danmark Jacob Bukhave, Danmark Dominik Kossakowski, Polen Jonas Engdahl, Sverige Jan Lukas Dittner, Tyskland Jiri Neminen, Finland Patrick Lykke Nielsen, Danmark (res) Steffan Leeder Nielsen, Danmark (res) Semi-Finale 2: Victor Palovaara, Sverige Jooa Partanen, Finland Kenny Wennerstam, Sverige Christoffer Sørensen, Danmark Mikkel Salomonsen, Danmark Mikkel Michelsen, Danmark Kenneth D. Jensen, Danmark Villi Hautala, Finland Rasmus Jensen, Danmark Emil Grøndal, Danmark Nickolaj B. Jacobsen, Danmark Oskar Polis, Polen Matusz Lizka, Polen Glenn Moi, Norge Frederik Engman, Sverige Jonas Jensen, Danmark Patrick Lykke Nielsen, Danmark(res) Steffan Leeder Nielsen, Danmark(res) Edited July 31, 2009 by iris123
Ghostwalker
i would expect Victor Palovaara to be in the top aswell.
Anders
Will also be an international meeting in Vojens on monday. But i don't think it will be a Denmark v Sweden test as our German representative is also taking part..... AFAIK, there will be an open meeting in Vojens earlier on the day, before the Denmark vs Sweden test match. Anyway, the Swedish team will be one rider short, so would need someone to fill the vacant spot.

Anders
I got a phone call from Team Thorssell, currently in Vissenbjerg, with the result of the European Final result, as below: 1. iris123
That is something of a surprise result.Mikkel B always seems to fall short.......but both will move up onto 500cc next year and i expect them to be just as good as LiGlad if not better.....surprised at Engdahl's poor score as well as he did look good yesterday. But maybe the track has played a part in all of this,as it wasn't very good yesterday and was maybe worse today???Well done to Kenni though
Ghostwalker
Palovaara, 4th place,1p less then 3rd so close but no cigar
f-s-p
HEY, WHAT A YEAR!!! We seem to have a rider in all the EC finals this year... Loppi still has the cast in his hand alltough there was no broken bones in it. It's a standard procedure for his injury to keep it in a cast for two weeks. Nieminen had to cancel his trip at the last minute due to personal reasons. My understanding is that Loppi and Nieminen will now both jump to 500cc, and that means now, not next year. iris123
Yes i heard Nieminen was in Denmark, but went back.......and programmed to ride was Villi Mattili(sounds like a pop band) ,but i don't know what happened to him

Peter S.
Heard that Denmark won the meeting 70-26 against Sweden in Vojens.Anyone got full results???? Someone told me it was the best meeting they have ever seen!!!!! I was in the pits helping out Mikkel M. ( his dad had to work ). A very good meeting. Some very close heats but with Danish wins in the end. The pairs riding made it exciting and showed that these boys, swedes and danes, are becomming excellent riders. I dont have the heat details here. Mikkel b. 14+1, Mikkel M. 13+1 (was beaten by Pallovara, only swedish heat win), Kenni N. 13 i think. Pallovaro was excluded at leats once for "warming tyres" , clutch problem, but was allowed a bit of this in the last heats, after Erik had a "meeting" with the ref.
