The final line-up looks superb & i wouldn't say it's a foregone conclusion Crumpie will win the GM on offer to the winner.

Do you still think that Colin after Crumpie's performance last night?

I'd say he is a dead cert to win - barring something untoward happening.

I agree with you Gemini --- it almost makes me wish that he wasn't racing so that the whole meeting remained closer! Having said that I am a Crumpy fan and it is not meant as a personal remark before anyone accuses me of being anti social!

Oh heck!!!

But Im sure it will all be fine. Fingers crossed

I've been thinking about it....mmmmmm

SB and SCB can work the tapes, you can go up and sit on the refs lap and wave a red flag out the window every time Crumpy gates...

Nikki, Matt, 21st and mummy SB can be the start line girls...

And silver bee senior can be the start marshall...

B)

Lovely weather tomorrow, come and support Olly... :approve:

Just got back from this one. Some good racing and not a bad crowd.

Nasty crash for Tai in heat one apparently suspected broken shoulder or collar bone.

Rotten luck for the high flying Wolves. Lets hope its not confirmed.

Only 1 winner Jason who was only beaten once all day by Freddie.

Quite an entertaining meeting I reckon, shame about Tai's highside, Schleiny reckons he has a broken shoulder, but I don't know how official that is. That aside there were some good races, albeit on a pretty dusty track. Pretty difficult to keep any moisture in the surface on this kind of warm windy day I guess. To be honest for most of the meeting there only ever looked like being one winner,Crumpie and although Freddie Lindgren and Chris Holder looked pretty quick, he duly obliged, .

Olly seemed to make plenty at the auction of race jackets and stuff (my own contribution of a painting and print of Olly in action rased £280, which I was chuffed about :approve: ).

A wonderful sight for those who hung about long enough was Johno stutting his stuff in what I am assuming were a pair of Dave Allen's old racing leathers, now Johno is a bit taller than Dave so they were a bit tight in the nadgers department, the old fella was on tip toes!

Over all pleasant way to spend Sunday afternoon IMO

Beeone- I put the good prices down to the person stood on the chair promoting them!!!!

Seriously - a good afternoon all around, some super racing on a sunny afternoon. Sad news about Tai, you never want that to happen at any time, but especially a testimonial when its all about having fun. I have a photo of Tai sat in back of the ambulance (van) and he looked really sad. I said I would only add it to my facebook piccies if he was okay. I guess I should delete it now!!

Pleased for Crumpie - the Aussies needed to win something today, didnt they!!!

And the Auction - silly money was spent today and that was superb for Olly. Crumpies jacket for £300+ . Im sure someone else can add to this with other amounts.

Overall, a good afternoon for us fans in the sunshine and hopefully a very successful and fun day for Olly.

Thanks mate for a brilliant day.

I think Crumps jacket went for £390, could have been more but the auctioneer decided to turn down a late bid!!

Ollys and Scotts both went for £120 I think, can't remember individually but they all went for at least £40 which was great.

Great afternoons entertainment in the sunshine, with some good racing. Shame that Tai got injured, he looked in a lot of pain.

I think Olly will be happy with the way things went. :approve:

Arh - that late bid.

The bidding was between two individuals and the 2nd bidder kept waiting for the 'Going 3 times' before bidding. It may add to the excitement but its difficult to watch and identify for amateur auctioneers.

Never going to please everyone but there you have it!
