krompa
I would be interested to know the rider replacement rules in Poland Czestochowa used R/R for Pedersen on Monday when they were also without Richardson so can r/r not be used when only one rider is out ?Maybe one of our Polish friends can help with an answer. Normally you can use R/R for any of your top 3 rider missing...but there is something similar to UK's green sheet avarages which are being updated every 3 rounds. In this case Czestochowa was allowed R/R for Nicki on Monday (as he was one of top 3 in GSA) but on Wednesday new GSA came into affect and Nicki has not ridden enough meetings/heats and that was the reason he wasn't in team's top 3 for meeting vs. Gorzow (or actually he was out of that list not reaching minimum number of heats neccessery for CMA to be effective). Hope it helps a bit.
krompa
Tai was amazing tonight. Simply flying. That kid has bright future for sure. He is not worry to make big steps and ride full time in Poland and Sweden when racing is tough, preassure is high and all GP guys around and in almost every heat against him. And his progress is pretty fast. Remember him last year and he looked much worse on Polish wide tracks. Hell of a difference now and WC Race Off in Leszno was perfect example. Bridger and Kennett will be light years behind him in 2 years time. The only young British hope for really big success.

krompa
Zielona Gora - Leszno this coming Friday at 19:00 (UK time). Czestochowa - Wroclaw new date not confirmed, there is a long story with this one. First league "boss" decided that it will be rerun today but he somehow forgot about Polish Pairs semifinals and Wroclaw refused to ride (they would miss some riders) then again league "boss" moved date to Friday but it doesn't suit Czestochowa (Lee has Lakeside meeting) and they said that there is some event already planned on the stadium and there is no way to run the meeting. Now league "boss" will start the trial against Czestochowa to find if they bluff or it was true and event was arranged long before. Funny story, as you can see people in charge are idiots not only in UK (BSPA) but in Poland too. Mr Ryszard Glod (I call him boss) is Ekstraliga Commissioner and some of his decisions are totally stupid. Most probably meeting will finally run next week. Bradford Ace
Am watching on sopcast -brilliant as always. If it ain't broke (or glitchy) don't fix it but....if ever it is (or even if it isn't lol)....feed the sopcast stream through VLC player and wow see the difference in quality. Proof of the improved faster stream is that when utilizing the VLC player the stream is actually ahead of the plain sopcast one. Agree with you though tonight is another example of a faultless stream and great picture. Hi mate, Not 2 hot on the old technology front so can ya give me a heads up on how to run the sopcast stream through the VLC player?? i messed about the other week & have now got the VLC Media Player icon on my desktop so presume i will be ok to do it but not a clue how to!! A beginners guide would be a great help!! Ta

A beginners guide would be a great help!! Ta 1.start sopcast and login. When you are logged in select options. at the options screen under "general" you will something called "Choose the external player" select "use my own media player" then browse to the installation folder of VLC and select vlc.exe and click "Open". 2.Next time you start a stream in the video windows you will have two buttons to the left of the play/pause button. When the stream is buffered/loaded click the 2nd button to the left of the Play/pause button and VLC will open. Also dont forget to mute the sound sopcast player or you will have "double sound". you only need to do the 1. part once but you need to repeat the nr2 each time. manchesterpaul
Cheers Ghostwalker for explaining that probably more clearly than i could have done lol. Things to point out, the above procedure takes only a minute or so. Incidentally, i have always used and logged into Sopcast anonymously. Also, the default external player that is prechecked will often be WMP which is often quite poor for Sopcast type feeds. So just do as advised above and browse/select to VLC.exe and check that. It's worth doing as an often stuttering feed will play fine in VLC and many streams that WMP simply won't open will also run smoothly. Obviously, you can use it on all sorts of video accessible with your computer. You can use it as a capture device and stream etc. Edited July 23, 2009 by manchesterpaul
Bradford Ace
Cheers guys, much appreciated that. I'll probs still cock it up but sounds like it aint that difficult so hopefully i'll be able to fathom it!! I'll test it out on sunday for the Polish meets. Big day for my Polish team Bydgoszcz, need a win big style to try & avoid the bottom 2 but will be interesting 2 see if any1 gets near Gollob round there!!! manchesterpaul
Also dont forget to mute the sound sopcast player or you will have "double sound". Just noticed that comment ghostwalker. The sound should automatically mute the Sopcast audio when you use the external player link. I've never had dual sound conflicts. Obviously, when i choose to have multiple Sopcast or VLC streams open i then have the settings to allow for several video and audio streams at the same time. Once the football season starts i'm often watching Manchester United and Speedway feeds at the same time.
