lucifer sam
Here's a novel idea. Video tape. Long play. Whole meeting recorded. Ah, the good old days eh? Grachan, I'm old school and still use the old fashioned video and allow a load of time at the end. Never let me down - except when BBC completely swap channels e.g. Robin Hood. And I don't think there's anything clever enough out there to deal with a change of channel. Technology is great - but quite often goes wrong. All the best Rob
Cornishman
Always put the programme after the meeting on record too, then if it over-runs the end of the meeting will be at the start of the next recording. Simples
Nevs
Always put the programme after the meeting on record too, then if it over-runs the end of the meeting will be at the start of the next recording. Simples Well Yes Corny that would appear to be the case,as Craiggy boy learned a while ago,and always does that now on his V+ box, Unfortunately ,when forgetting to tell his mum how to do that and forgetting to set record himself when he dragged himself out of bed, before joining the coach on the way to Cardiff,it resulted in a 45 minute phone call telling mumsy what button to press -it wasnt a happy conversation to listen to travelling up the M5 and all through the stop off break at the services.Lots of shouting and HOW MANY RED BUTTONS ARE THERE!!!! I just kept shctuum Will be interesting to see just how much that phone call cost when she had to ring him back as he was almost out of credit,,but don't worry I shall remember when the bill arrives. Always record the one before and the one after Edited July 21, 2009 by Nevs
IainB
Always put the programme after the meeting on record too, then if it over-runs the end of the meeting will be at the start of the next recording. Simples I did that myself a few weeks back when the poole arena match overran... all I got was the overrun bit instead of the whole thing, even though I had recorded the whole thing. As soon as it started to overrun into the next program it over wrote the original recording
