Guest Ashie Smashy
For me, this week as shown why we all once loved our sport. Fantastic racing, tense results and a brillaint advert for our sport. Even the rain could not spoil a tense finale to a wonderful week of speedway. Blazeaway
Fan bloody tastic!!! Aussies beaten in the pits during the break. Is Tai British again now then?
BWitcher
yu gotta feel for the AUssies. Poland was saved by the rain and the silly joker rule. Crumps faulty. Why give them the chance to use the joker.. AND give them the chance to use Hampel twice. Utterly stupid stupid decision to pass Kasper
frigbo
What the hell was Crump thinking of passing Kasprzak! Brain Dead move

Poland was saved by the rain and the silly joker rule. You saved me the trouble of posting that, and on a borrowed bike too!!! Poles got lucky with the inside gates after the rain break too
orion
Why did crump pass kasper ? cost aus the world cup letting them get 6pts behind Funny thing was he started punching the air well done Poland thou why they are picking riders like Gollob instead of youngsters is shocking ...no point in winning the world cup now when they might win it in 2030 . Trees
Darn it! Poor old Troyboy, had two heats in the last 6! Gollob was always gonna do it in the last, well done Poles. Poles got lucky with the inside gates after the rain break too Ain't that the truth! Edited July 19, 2009 by Trees

SCOTLAND1314
What a final!!!!!!!! right down to the last heat, really enjoyed this today... Now they like gollob again in poland heheheh... You've got to love him, Gollob can handle the pressure that's for sure. I feel a bit sorry for Aussies, only team not to use a joker or tactical sub

I feel a bit sorry for Aussies, only team not to use a joker or tactical sub I think crump should have kept his 2nd place instead of letting poland get 6 points behind, not felling sorry for them even tough i wanted them to win, congrats to poland (mumble grumble ggrrr evil smiley )
colincooke
Aussie tactics have cost them the World Cup? Yet, then again it's only through double pointers that they lose out, scrap 'em. Edited July 19, 2009 by colincooke
Jenn
Crump screwed it up - no way around it!!! Gutted for the Aussies - I tried protesting and not supporting them coz of Sully-Gate but it lasted about 2 races. Crumpy is a legend but he offered it to the Poles on a plate today!! Sotonian
Yet again the joker is pivotal. Same for everyone given the chance but still seems wrong.

YorkshirePudding
well done to poland. aussies will be gutted, lets hope that rubs off into the ashes too in a few years england will be up challenging for the world cup. until then we can at least try and get in the final
refereerick
yu gotta feel for the AUssies. Poland was saved by the rain and the silly joker rule. The joker rule MUST be removed coz Aussies led the whole way but lost on a joker rule which they never had the possibility to use. Aussies didn't take the lead until heat

We have some good prospects but 3 of the 4 countries in the SWC final, plus Denmark, have dozens - some could even almost track alternative youth teams that would be in with a shout.
