ballinger
Dont think so myself, as Adam Shields also rides for Leszno As Troy is ony recently back from injury, I would have thought Adam was the better choice, unless for some reason, he didnt want to ride On her twitter, Charlie Webster also reckons its Troy in for Sullivan Edited July 16, 2009 by ballinger
BritPete
They really should hurry up and announce some names, so the the bookies can sort some nice juicy bets out. IF Batchelor really is in for Sullivan....then it would seem that Adam Shields is not liked by somebody!
orion
Wow the other teams look well weak now, a golden chance for Gb to get into the final they really should make it now .

tarabanko
The team managers can wait until after the practice to nominate the riders - the practice starts at 13.00 (CET) - so guess we have to waite to around 16.00 (CET) before we know the line-up. I will ofcuz update the Race Card as soon as I know who is riding Ok, but anyway which sport wait to announce the team so late??
Adder
It is ridiculous. People have got bets to decide on and scorecards to print and i'm only in the office until 3.45 today!!
garyy
Seems sensible to see who of your squad is riding the track the best at practice and then name them in a team after that. Mind you things that envolve sensible thinking are alwas ridiculed on this forum. What other sport? Football have to declare the team to match officials around an hour before kick off. Today at the test match both teams were declared at the toss 30 mins before play starts. Edited July 16, 2009 by garyy
Cliv Clav
Charlie Webster says Rico is in for Kennett and Batchelor for Sullivan. Why are we getting our news from a TV presenter's mobile phone, rather than official websites? Nothing on the BSPA site. On the Speedway GP website, it says Lyon is unsure whether he will bring Richardson in! How much top flight speedway does this guy actually see?! Our top rider in UK, Sweden and Poland may not be used when trying to qualify for a World Cup Final! What a joke.
spook
tbh Cliv Clav I understand his uncertainty if he didnt make the 'deal' that Rico said they had ........... once again for me the first question is can we win the SWC? the second is can we qualify for the final? and obviously the third is do we gain more by having Rico in the team or by Ed gaining more experience? after the other night though I think Ed really weakened his case for inclusion as he just didnt look comfortable at any point and Leszno will require a similar approach to the track............. I think it would be likely that he would struggle and be tailed off and thats where any positive experience possibly becomes negative for me I'm sure Rico will be great to have in the team tonight and hopefully he can lead by example Edited July 16, 2009 by spook
garyy
Perhaps nothing on BSPA website as official team not anounced yet. Is it not the case that testing/practice is just starting. would expect Rico in, but why must forum people assume they should be fed endless information on things that are ongoing. What the hell is wrong with a bit of patience and then discussion on fact rather than endless speculation. If you want endless nonsense try Bob D and the stuff fed to the Argus. Why do you have go on about having to win it all the time ? no shame in trying to come second or third and no reason why we should not try to do it . Do your best at all times . Red&BlackAttack
So Danes are - Hans Andersen,Kenny Bjerre,Niels K Iversen,Nicolai Klindt,Paddy Hougaard. Sweden could be - Andreas Jonsson,Freddie Lindgren,Antonio Lindback,David Ruud,Jonas Davidsson. I think if Team GB perform to there best, why couldnt they nick 2nd place??? ?? Itll be a great meeting either way!
Fourentee
Wow the other teams look well weak now, a golden chance for Gb to get into the final they really should make it now . Good effort, Orion. But clearly no takers.
Robin Bert
Should be a walk in the park for the Aussies IMO, but 2nd spot is really up for grabs and I think GB do have a chance (albeit a slim one), as although both Denmark and Sweden have world class riders in their ranks, they also have riders who could find things tough at Leszno. For that reason Rico has to come in because he has performed well in Poland this year and has the speed required round the big Polish tracks. If he can have a good night and gets some decent back-up from the rest of the team we can definitely make a fight of it and with a bit of luck who knows?! Whatever happens I just hope the track is well prepared with a bit of grip (Ole stay in the stands please) and we get another fantastic speedway meeting like Monday. Come on GB!! Adder
2nd spot up for grabs my a**e. Aus and Sweden will qualify comfortably with GB battling it out with Denmark for the evening's wooden spoon. No question. Absolutely.

Aus and Sweden will qualify comfortably with GB battling it out with Denmark for the evening's wooden spoon. No question. Absolutely. Well i think Hans and kenneth are a match for the Swedish top 2.Niels should be a match for Davidsson and Nicolai and Patrick are as good as Lindbäck and Ruud(if the Swedes go with that team.......even if they don't any other is just the same Ljung, etc)So i think it will be quite close between Sweden and Denmark.I hope the youngsters go well and Denmark make it.But then i hope the young English guys go better than they did in Peterborough. Not likely, but who knows.... Definitely yeah
