Humphrey Appleby
hey what about Åland!? , dont "forget" about them. Yes, why doesn't Åland have its own speedway team? Technically, it has more international recognition than Scotland as it's on the UN lists.

Humphrey Appleby
Where the hell is Aland ? Never heard of it . It's a group of islands between Finland and Sweden which speak Swedish but through a quirk of history are part of Finland. However, thanks to an international treaty, they're completely autonomous from Finland and don't have to pay taxes. As a result, every ferry travelling from Sweden to Finland and vice-versa inexplicably stops there in the middle of the night so they can sell duty-free alcohol even though they're travelling between EU countries. It's basically the Finnish version of Guernsey or Jersey. I actually stopped in Aland for a couple of days last year. Don't worry whilst I have a breath left in my body we will get on that list. I actually know one of the people who decides who gets on the definitive country list, and if you ply him with enough alcohol you never know. Humphrey Appleby
Why does that 'A' have a golfball on top of it , and how did it get there? The Swedish alphabet has 29 characters (æ, ä, å), and that's one of extra ones pronounced 'aw'. You can substitute 'aa' for 'å' though. Danish and Norwegian also have similar extra characters (æ, ø, å), although the 'ø' can also be written as 'oe'. steve19620
Interview with chief of Leszno trackstuff. He said he will do the track the way Ole Olsen wants him to do it. Personally he would love to do it semi-grippy but he knows it must be riders safety firstly. I'm pretty sure Olsen will tell him to prepare it as slick as hell to suit Danes! Boring gate and go I'm afraid. After watching proper racing on a non-prepared Olsen track on Monday it's back to normal Grand Prix racing ie Boring ! Well that's saved my partner and me over £2,000 to watch the gating competion to the first bend. At least's it cheaper watching it on Sky than flying to Poland to watch it. FN: Well done to Peterborough for producing a decent track and cracking meeting Edited July 15, 2009 by steve19620
gatekeeper522
Change Stoddart with Tully and you have yourself a Scottish team that would indeed finnish ahead of the teams that currently occupy 4th place. Also would someone like to answer me why its ok for the English lads to "have fun" and "gain exprience" but not for any Scots to have the oppertunity. Just a tad "xenophobic" dont you think Oh Snyper dont be so petty..You know we are the Superior race....Why do you always argue with that.. I will ofcuz update the Race Card as soon as I know who is riding
jeffster
Ive been told its Troy Batchelor in for Sullivan - He rides for Leszno so it was a natural choice Dont think so myself, as Adam Shields also rides for Leszno As Troy is ony recently back from injury, I would have thought Adam was the better choice, unless for some reason, he didnt want to ride
