Swc Event 2, Peterborough 13.7.

Why is Tai being slagged of? Tai was your best rider in last years SWC if i remember rightly. You were all going on about how fantastic he had been and how you couldnt wait to see him next year etc.

As for leaving Scott out. I think its the right choice for the England team. Scott is extremely low on confidence and this is showing in his riding and temper tantrums in his pit space. That is not what you want in your team. You want guys full of confidence raring to go and push eachother on. I think if you had included Scott is would of ruined the team spirit that will be vital for England to get 3rd place.

COME ON THE SLOVENIANS.

Give over. How many jokers do you think Slovenia can use? England are dead certs for 3rd at least unless you are one of the Slovenian jokers

Iris anything can happen when on track. Bike problems, crashes, awesome performances. Just look at Russia who would really have thought the Russians would of won at Vojens? Anything is possible.

You are right....but England talent is more spread out compared to Slovenia. If Zagar is injured or not performing or has an exclusion even then they are cream crackered.

IMO King is not the weak link in your team, Kennett and Bridger (possible even Tai) are.

The only two riders in your team that have been quite successful on tracks of proper length, against good opposition is Harris and King.

Looking forward to seeing what the boys can do tonight, I was thinking earlier, its a big night for Bomber, captain, top rider, and most internationally experienced of the brit boys, so lets hope he can play a captains role, we have seen him do it at times for the bees so lets hope he can do it on the bog stage, good luck boys.

Exactly what I said earlier Spanner, we are never going to win the meeting or come last with or without Scott and Lee so why not take the chance to give the younger riders some valuable experience.

Because people have paid a lot of money and should not have to watch under strenght sides ....Good job the others teams don't take that attitude i doubt if many tickets would get sold .

Maybe Zagar should not have ridden tonight ? after all his team not going to win .

Talking of Zagar and Injuries, does anyone know what state of fitness he's in after his crash last week?

Hoping he's fully recovered, otherwise 6 rides could cause him further problems

Its not England its Great Britain

Being Xenophobic towards your own Country is very weird - accept you are British for once.

Snapper dont start ok. I aint British simple. And its England racing, every single rider in the squad not just the team is English.

So if you dont mind i will support who ever i see fit.

Not really supporting anyone myself, but hope to see the four former Rockets on show do well ;)

My expectations are that we get back to the level we were at a couple of years back under Middlo, as we have slipped mightily even from the the last final appearance under Middlo when we were outclassed. Lyon needs to work on the morale of the team as last year we had a disastrous campaign, led by a guy that was not up to the job and petty squabbling between Harris and Nicholls.

The russians have proved that with top equipment and a good spirit, shocks can happen as Sayfutdinov aside our riders should at least be the match of the Russian riders.
