diamond@heart
I agree that Emil is a great talent but I think he needs to think a little bit more about his racing and actions after incidents. I do not think this is the last You Tube clip we will see of Emil on here and I feel he may cause someone a serious injury with the way he is riding. I think he can dish it out but often appears childish in his actions in that the toys come out of the pram when someone gives him a taste of his own medicine or when a incident is just a pure racing incident he seems to forget that. DK Rides Again
When you're young, ambitious and fearless, and know you have talent, you will try anything. In most kinds of motorsport, you can get away with the odd mistake; in speedway, where nobody has anywhere to go, if it all goes wrong, you can't afford to be that cavalier. I hope he learns soon because, if he doesn't, he's either going to do serious damage to someone, or someone is going to do serious damage to him. I said on the BGP thread that, whilst his 'handbags' moment with Nicholls might have seemed like a laugh to most, if he continues with the attitude, sooner or later he's going to find himself in the fence. He's a very talented young man, but he's on a very steep learning curve; as the saying goes, "A good man knows his limitations", and I don't think he's a 'good man' yet. krompa
How is Hans doing now? Will he be ready to ride in World Cup on Saturday? Or Mads Korneliussen/Patrick Hougaard steps in?
Ghostwalker
How is Hans doing now? Will he be ready to ride in World Cup on Saturday? Or Mads Korneliussen/Patrick Hougaard steps in? from what i have heard Hans escaped without any broken bones although he have/had(?) some pain in his hands. Dont know if he will ride or not. Some of the Danish members in here should be able to give us some more info.

Peter S.
Hans left hand is swollen and "more or less useless". He wont do practice today, but still hopes to be ready for saturday. Klindt called in as reserve. Peter
Jason.C
Come on. People, you need to stop. Did Emil fence anyone on purpose? As far as I know all his GP accidents were caused by other riders and here he was just trying to cut in front of Hans and missed it by few inches which caused the nasty crash. But he is simply young, full of passion and there is nothing wrong about it. Or you maybe prefer such boring riders like Adams, Nicholls, Richardson, Hampel to only name a few gate and go specialists? Young Gollob used to be a bit crazy, Nicki not only crazy but sometimes rode unfair on purpose to leave opponents no room and make them shot the throttle off. But at the end of the day you go to the stadium to see some action and entertainment. Bring me more Saifus, more Gollobs, more Lorams and I will be happy as hell. That's speedway! Good post. At the same time I hope he learns from this accident. I very much doubt he intented to cause what happened, especially when Hans is a good friend of his. marcel
emil is just young and a racer.thats what we need as speedway is becoming boring (i dont mean big crashes) if some of the english would show some of the fight he got then we would be a little better
hyderd
Emil is a racer through and through, the only thing he was guilty of there was losing his ballance due to ducking under Hans handlebars coming into the bend, If he is guilty of anything then IMO it is his desire to fight with anyone who gets in his way. Mark
it was stupid by the russian. he needs to tone down a bit as he is almost touches a back wheel or does stupid things like this. He lent on hans front wheel and caused the crash. he'll stop doing it when he puts himself in hospital with a serious injury. hopefully he wont put someone else there first
