SuzieQ
Maybe Ryan has been selected for commercial reasons too? Being in Peterborough he may get a few more through the gate? I know that I'm thinking of going along now he's riding and wouldnt have considered it normally! To be fair, I can't see that having any bearing on Boycey's team selection! He will pick the team he feels will do the job, not who will draw the numbers through the gates!
BigFatDave
Will you still be here that week Dave? Whaddayareckon, Gem? Doing Poland as well mate, I've always reckoned the best racing you'll ever see is SWC - apart from the Australian Championships of course, but then I may be a tad biased!! 5 FURROW
suprised that there's no Jagus for Poland and no Ward for Australia. Jagus face dont fit Gollob doesnt get on with him and as far as i am concerned Gollobs manager seems as though he pulls all of the strings within the team so i am not surprised at all and as much as i would like to see Darcy in possibly its a bit to much to soon but if were to be in he would would give it 110%
BigFatDave
Bit of a whisper going round about Leigh maybe withdrawing from Peterborough round - anyone got any hard news? Edit: Unconfirmed reports of a new suit of Kevlars being made up for a certain 16-y-old Wunderkind - maybe since we're gonna get in to the Polish rounds without too much drama somehow Boycey's thinkin' of bloodin' the young feller? flagrag
It would not surprise me if Darcy Ward is now called up after seeing that Poland are not fielding the strongest team also I am sure IMG would be very pleased as could possibly add another few hundred fans on the gate with more Kings Lynn fans and neutrals coming over

Go OZ!! been at the eoes enough this season....some would think he is signing for us, now....there is a thought He will be able to see were hes parking his bike in the pits for next year and anyway hes already had a go at wearing the Panthers race jacket hope he liked it !! BigFatDave
Rooboy and Darcy both having prangs has really thrown a spanner in the woodpile - maybe a call-up for Ryan or Troy? I can think of another bloke that wouldn't let us down either but he'll probably be working for SKY - go Johnno!! tomcat
Rooboy and Darcy both having prangs has really thrown a spanner in the woodpile - maybe a call-up for Ryan or Troy? I can think of another bloke that wouldn't let us down either but he'll probably be working for SKY - go Johnno!! Bit of a worry for Boycey I reckon, specially with Rory going down tonight. Any more news on his condition, one report says a break etc, but until someone gets concrete news on this, I wont take that as read. Hope Roo isnt as badly injured as suggested, I like the fella and it would be a shame if he has to miss any meetings, let alone the SWC. Hope you enjoy the rest of your tour BFD. Excerpt from the report on Bees website regarding Rory, not good news for aussies. "Fortunately the leg is not broken, although he does have a problem with his knee, and the shoulder injury has been confirmed as a broken collarbone. In addition to that, Schlein has suffered a small break to his wrist, and possible nerve loss in a finger. Everyone at Coventry wishes him all the best for as speedy a recovery as possible." Sir Jasper
Surely Adams will ride now as Rory and Ward are out for a while.
tony159
On sky tonight they said Davey Watt would be replacing Rory Schlein.

BigFatDave
Heard last night it would be Jason, Leigh, Ryan, Chris and Adam Shields. Whoever rides I'm sure I'll be getting some serious flag-waving in.
Pollyanna
Heard last night it would be Jason, Leigh, Ryan, Chris and Adam Shields. Whoever rides I'm sure I'll be getting some serious flag-waving in. Adam Shields is in good form at the moment and not at all bad in Poland, whereas Davey Watt seems to be struggling in Poland. Such a shame for Rory and Best WIshes for a speedy recovery.
T.N.T.
Will be shocked if Australia dont win this by at least 6 points from Poland while England (not Team GB) are way back in third.

I actually think Slovenia could well get 3rd. If Zagar can get 13 I think we'll struggle to get 3rd.
Dexter
Aussies are favourites but Poles are surely able to beat them. Adams and Sullivan have been far from their best form recently. Watt is a bit unpredictable but somehow I cannot see him scoring double digit. Poles have picked up riders who perform better in Polish league. That's why Walasek and Holta are out. Ulamek is injured and will not ride for sure. For me only Miedzinski is a bit of mistery. The guy is going to ride in SWC for the first time in his life and also his performance this year improved all of a sudden (previously was a mid class rider with good talent). Leigh far from his best on the individual front but certainly in top trim as far as team events go...and exactly what is the world cup?..a team event?!
