Jenn
Line up should be Jurica Pavlic Jarosław Hampel Fredrik Lindgren Maksim Bogdanov Chris Holder Adrian Miedziński Piotr Protasiewicz Martin Smolinski Kenneth Bjerre Grzegorz Walasek Jonas Davidsson Kauko Nieminen Chris Harris Lukas Dryml Magnus Zetterström Dave Watt Some of the names expected to be there are missing out - including Zagar, Lindback, Schlein and Pedersen.... SCB
I would. Should be a damn good meetingAs there is a chance that Crumpy may be at Somerset that night for Mark Lemons testimonial, I'm thinking a trip down to Somerset is in order. I live in Coventry too, says it all about VFM really! By the time I split the petrol money with a couple of others, Somerset for Marks meeting costs less and it'll probably be a better meeting. Half that line up are not exactly known as Coventry track specialists, in fact, they're the opposite! Jurica Pavlic - ordinary and boring Jarosław Hampel - boring Fredrik Lindgren - can be brilliant Maksim Bogdanov - No idea. Chris Holder - Can be very good. Adrian Miedziński - Nothing speical Piotr Protasiewicz - not great, boring. Martin Smolinski - A EL reserve after 3 season at Coventry. Kenneth Bjerre - generally pretty good. Grzegorz Walasek - Crap. Jonas Davidsson - Who knows?! Kauko Nieminen - Not very good. Chris Harris - Might give Freddie a challenge for the win. Lukas Dryml - Nowt speical Magnus Zetterström - Very good, sadly Dave Watt - Poor to average, rarely good. Now if Lindback, Zagar and Schlein had been in it, they're all good at Coventry and pretty exciting. Edited July 4, 2009 by SCB

Bartolus
What will happen if Lindgren/Harris/Bjerre/Walasek will place in top 8 of current GP season and at the same time they would take one of the three places in Challenge? Will the spot go to ninth rider of GP or to 4th of challenge?

snapper-racing.co.uk
Why sadly? Wouldnt you LOVE to see the Zorro in the gps? Id guarantee Lukas Dryml to qualify for the GPs now - he seems to be very good at getting wins in these type of events I just wish he could carry it on into the GP though Zorro in the Gps?? hmm think he would be popular but would he get results????? he has been known to pull off a shock or too I agree the line up seems quite weak and there really isnt anyone who could go through and do something in the GPs apart from Holder realistically... and Freddies almost guaranteed top 8 in the GPs anyway. SCB
Why sadly? Wouldnt you LOVE to see the Zorro in the gps? Two words, second one off. I can't stand Zorro, I despise the guy. I'm hopefully a little Swedish friendliness will see Zorro catch a cold and Lindback as reserve getting his place. I think it's 4th in the challengeThats my reading of the situation too. JamieE
I can't stand Zorro, I despise the guy. I have to agree with that opinion of zorro! Although my reason for it is only because of the misery and frustration he caused me when he demolished the Bees on numerous occasions around Brandon last season! It's a great shame that Zagar hasn't qualified for this meeting, i just hope the authorities ignore this and give him a wild card place next season anyway. I think Miedzinski could be one to watch, like Lukas Dryml, he seems to be an expert at these sort of meetings. Although i'm not really a big Hampel fan, i hope out of that lineup that he qualifies as i think he deserves to be a gp rider, he's shown on many occasions in the gp that he's capable of doing well. Sky Blue Bee
Was really looking forward to this meeting but following the demise of Zagar, Pedersen, Schlein and Lindback I am not sure whether I will bother now, as SCB has already stated all 4 would have been in with a great chance of qualifying at Brandon . Thats is the beauty of the qualication system. Whoever does qualify will do so on merit and therefore good luck to them
Steve Shovlar
Perhaps its finally sinking in with some peple that Bjarne hasn't been manipulating his average at all this season and has dropped by a two point standard. He has never got close to the form of recent seasons this year and being dumped out of the semi final was totally predictable. A shame that Lindback and Zagar went the same way though. Write off Adrian Meidzinski at your peril. The lad has come on leaps and bounds and could easily qualify over soeone like Holder who has never really mastered the Brandon track. Harris ( extremely unfortunately, doesn't deserve a berth) and Lindgren are nailed on. If walasek has his gating boots on he could easily make it, as could Bjerre. beesknees
League Averages @ Brandon with Bonus Points (without Bonus Points) Kenneth Bjerre 7.14 (6.71) Grzegorz Walasek 5.60 (5.40) Jonas Davidsson 4.31 (3.84) Kauko Nieminen 6.40 (6.40) Chris Harris 8.21 (7.31) Lukas Dryml 5.30 (4.87) Magnus Zetterström 5.84 (5.14) Dave Watt 6.21 (5.42) Jurica Pavlic 6.50 (6.00) Jarosław Hampel 6.91 (6.42) Fredrik Lindgren 7.48 (6.90) Maksim Bogdanow debut Chris Holder 8.00 (7.14) Adrian Miedziński 5.78 (5.78) Piotr Protasiewicz 7.13 (6.78) Martin Smolinski 6.66 (5.60) For me a top-3 of Lindgren, Bjerre and Davidsson if the latter brings his World Cup Brandon form with him, with Harris, Hampel, Holder and Zetterstrom in double figures. Cheers BK
