tomazpozrl
There was some controversy about the disqualification of Matej Zagar in GP qualifying round in Gorican last Saturday. Adrian Rymel went down on the first bend of heat 8 and Hungarian referee Istvan Darago immediately excluded Zagar. Check this link to see the video of the incident: http://www.speedway.si/index.php?option=co...0&Itemid=62 What is your opinion? Was this the right decision? UnitedUnitedUnited
Guy in blue did edge out a little bit, forcing Matej a bit wider than expected, left Rhyml with no room, looks like he thought first corner, means all 4 back so took a dive. And worked even better for him
speedy den boy
Terrible decision, one of the worst ive seen, the rider behind zagar got into trouble all on his own,he just made a mistake and bailed out,Zagar didnt even touch him anyway. What was Zagar reaction at being told he was excluded? TwoMinuteWarning
Ludicrous decision, but not surprising given the total lack of consistency in refereeing decisions at international level this season. Given his past record, it's amazing that Darago is still refeeeing anything! I suspect, though, that he didn't have the benefit of a replay to watch in this case? f-s-p
All4back after this one in Finland last weekend. It's about 5 or 6 pics alltogether. I wonder what the referee was doing while it happened?? It was a first bend fall in a semifinal with two going through to the final. It's not just the GP's that the ref's cant take the pressure... Ghostwalker
Here is this incident from another angle: http://mediaspeed.net/fotka.asp?id=3&foto=137153 well to be honest i probably would have ex'd the rider in white helmet as well. But its hard to see how much contact there was. A view from the opposite direction would have been preferable.

f-s-p
never mind the decision - who is the guy in the edinburgh racejacket with duggo on his forks cover? Appe Mustonen with Katajisto's race jacket and old Kylmäkorpi covers. I think he was very lucky that Gafurov was denied a visa during spring and the Eastbourne team had to be redone (and Mustonen was dropped).
