Nevs
I am just about to cancel a family room at The Park Inn Cardiff North as some friends that were coming with us can no longer make it. Its a family room for two nights (Fri and Sat) at a total cost of £180 at the time for both nights. The room is booked in my name and will be charged to my account. My question is this-It is currently £180 for one night for a double-I have never cancelled a room before-so if someone on here wanted to take this booking would the hotel allow me to transfer that room and the booking to another person at that rate? or should I just cancel it and they then resell the room for about £400? I dont want to be responsible for the cost of the room on the day but it seems a shame to cancel it if someone else could make good use of it at that price if it could be transferred to them with their details. Any advice?
rhidassa
Best thing is to ring them & see if they offer the option of transferring - perhaps make out your friends cant go but you have some other friends that may want the reservation and you're considering what to do.. See if they'll allow it to be transferred. Get the info without revealing too much, or they might not like it, wanting to get more money. shazzybird
Nevsy I have 9 rooms booked in my name and just before the event I ring through with names for the rooms, might be different at the hotel you have but where we are they are fine with the name changing.
