spook
imo Holta is too old for a WC if he dont finish top 8 well too bad for hom but if they want to get some excitement back in the GPs its time to go for the sligthly younger ones (younger then 30). I agree and i'm not sure that IMG would disagree either but if by the end of the GP's and the Challenge they only have Gollob and Hampel through who would be a better option than Rune to join them other than another oldie in Jagus? I would have thought one of the priorities when handing out permanent wildcards is to try to make sure that they dont result in protasiewicz's, kasprzak's, chrzanowski's, walasek's etc........... I'd be suprised if Rune wasnt hanging around the 9th/10th position by the end and that would make it very easy for them to bring him back.... and probably a safer bet for avoiding disaster than Miedzinski Big problem with the nominations is at least one (if not two) get used up to ensure that there are Brits in the series. Surely there can be no justification for having 2 Brits for 2010? Harris still has a chance of qualifying in the top 8 or failing that getting through at Coventry, but with Nicholls way off the pace and no other Brit even qualifying to the semi's by right, let alone the Final, it would be totally unfair to put a Brit in for next year. yeah I think IMG would be really pushing things if they tried to get two in again as I just dont see how it can be justified......... unless Rico starts banging in big scores in all 3 leagues and bomber makes it as of right............... Ghostwalker
at the moment Rico is your best rider.he is doing very well in Sweden not sure about Poland/Britain though.
salty
Richardson is doing well in the leagues, but would he be able to make an impression in the GP's? Will be interesting to see how he does in the WTC (if he gets a ride). Pity he pulled out of his qualifier, but I would rather a rider who finished 9th or 10th in the standings get given a nomination than a rider of similar vintage get in purely because there are no other Brits good enough. You cannot argue either Ninholls /Harris were both British Champions in successive years . Where was Richardson .

Where was Richardson . would you with the same logic say the Magnus "Zorro" Zetterström was the best Swedish rider last season just because he won the Swedish championship final? In a one off final anything can happen and its not necessarily the best rider that wins in the end.
