2009 Fim Speedway Challenge - The Ballots For The Semi-finals

Recommended Posts

judging by other previous posts on this subject there may not be 8 qualifiers............ its as clear as mud as to what could happen but it all centres around the need for British representation at Coventry for the final it seems

Surely it will be the top 8 as long as 1 of Harris or Woffinden(bad start) qualify?

Or am I being logical again? Lol!

Hopefully Smolinski won't miss out on this basis!!

it would be sad if he did miss out on that basis as there is no doubting that he did well

someone posted that it was pre determined that it was the daugavpils semi salty.......... but tbf there have been so many conflicting things posted about this that who knows what the case is?

If no Brit qualifies then 7 + 1 from Daugavpils plus a seeded brit and 8 + 1 from Motala.

I don't know who made that decision but it can be found on; http://www.piraterna.se/

i'm not sure..... it would make sense and if so I hope gafurov is ok

i cant find the thread but i know fsp tried to create a key for the various forms of scorekeeping worldwide

Hubby's at Motala with German friend pinning hopes on bomber qualifying.

They're on track prep after heat 12 so probs with updating I think.

I managed to get into the Piraterna site and this is the translated (google) commentary for heat 4

Comment: Grzegorz Walasek showed that he felt at home in their old orbit in Motala. Home Son Jonas Davidsson came away late from the start but ran on Renat Gafurov on the first lap. Gafurov was then stops on machinery.

so its looking like gafurov may have had an ef...... in which case the issue is either with the track or something in heat 5 im guessing
