In that case, only fifteen will qualify from the semi-finals, since a British rider is guaranteed a place in the final at Coventry.

i dont like this. shouldnt all riders qualify on merit instead then because that the final is being held in their home country?

The 2 semi finals had a seeded rider, but where is the information on a seeded rider in the GP Challenge ?

According to the Fim web page it's 8 and 8 to qualify

Why didn't Lee Richardson ride yesterday/Is he gonna be the seeded Brit if there is such a thing?

Surely it should be Harris? He either qualifies by right or gets the seeded spot anyway?Sure i have seen that sort of thing happen before.I mean in Ice Racing it has happened quite a bit.Even in the Russian qualies where a rider from the host track got into the final even though he didn't finish in the top 8 of the semi.....

Sweden - Lindback, Bjerre, Zagar, Davidsson, Harris, Ulamek and one more

Latvia - Protasiewicz, Holder, Lindgren, Hampel, Vaculik, Miedzinski and Laguta(wc)

Any of these riders could be in the top 3 for the GP Challenge final but being at Coventry, I will go for Zagar, Lindgren and Holder.

Lindgren will gain a top 8 place anyway and Holder would have been seeded even if he fails to qualify.

Think Protasiewicz will be the dark horse and 2010 will see just one British rider in the series .... if they are lucky !

Glad to see you have Vakulic back as a Slovakian though

Are you sure Laguta will get the wc now he has seemingly given up on his attempt to become a Latvian and thrown his lot in with Russia? Seem to remember the Russian federation were not too happy when he got the wc for the Latvian GP the other year.....

Ułamek is probably out- broken scapula:/

What's the current rule, will Woffy now replace Ulamek in the lineup at Motala or does PZM have the right to nominate a replacement?

On another thread they are saying J. Wright gets a place in Daugavpils after two riders had withdrawn. That doesnt sound right...

well i suppose they have reserves for a reason; to be called in in case of injuries.

well as great as it is for Wuffy to get the experience and chance to go further its really bad luck for Seb who has quietly impressed me this season

how long would a boken Scapula usually keep someone out for?

as always it depends on the severity of the injury. According to the following article normally it takes 6 weeks to heal.

http://emedicine.medscape.com/article/1263076-treatment

this article http://www.mdguidelines.com/fracture-scapula claims 6-8 weeks.
