WimbledonDon
Got to love your support you give to Team GB Snyper... Where do you get your patriotism from? -- As for unity... the Poles & Aussies are all united in a small sense - they all have a 'team bike covers' whereas most countries are just kevlars this gives extra 'togetherness' each are different... like if we had a forum full of Snyper's (Ironic name there you have SNYPer) Team GB wouldn't have any followers... Snyper1010
You clearly dont know too much about me. I am not British, im Scottish simple as that. So why on earth would i cheer on 5 Englishmen? COME ON THE DANES.

So why on earth would i cheer on 5 Englishmen? COME ON THE DANES. Well tbh, its not just about 'english/british/scottish' patrioism, or lack of it from you... its the constant winding up and just general w**ker'ish views you seem to have constantly... fair play to everyone's own opinions, but comon enough of the purposeful winding up now, surely
Snyper1010
I aint winding people up. I genuinely dont see what there is to be excited about. There is nothing special about riders getting together for a photo shoot. Well not when they are meant to be a national team anyway. I wonder if the Danes/Aussies/Swedes/Poles get as excited when they have their team photo shoots. Why would i show patriotism to something i have no belief in? Jim Blanchard
I think they all look really smart and at least some thought has gone into it.
wotnoaj
In a way it is a shame that there isn't a team England, Scotland, Wales and Ireland. If we were drawn in the same group England would romp to an easy victory and head straight for the final.

Snyper1010
Why on Earth would you cheer on 5 Danes? Because its a damn sight better than cheering on 5 Englishmen.
Grachan
Because its a damn sight better than cheering on 5 Englishmen. Any particular reason? Or just blind prejudice?
Snyper1010
LMAO prejudice because i dont support a certain nation? Does that make me prejudice for not suppoting the Poles? I dont want to support 5 Englishmen as i aint English my favourite nation due to riders will be Denmark. Therefore thats who i will be wanting to win. gatekeeper522
Now Snyper thats enough! will you leave the nice English ppl alone? Or they might just enter a Team GB elephant polo team to stop you winning that!!
wotnoaj
Any particular reason? Or just blind prejudice? To be fair Grachan, Snyper isn't really showing prejudice as he's entitled to support whoever he likes. He's made it clear on many occasions that he considers himself a Scot and not a Brit which is fair enough. As Scotland don't have any riders capable of making a decent National side of their own, or any capable of making the British squad, he's free to support whoever. bruno
obviously looking smart gets us nothing on thr track but if it makes the riders feel part of a team then good luck to lyons . it shows a more professional approach and shows hes proberly more professional in other matters as well
Snyper1010
Pearcey we would put a team together if the damn FIM would allow it.

My PE teacher at school had the saying 'look smart, play smart' and thats what he told us every time we represented the school at football / cricket / basketball etc. No one is saying that GB will sweep all before them just because they are all dressed the same but its a good basis for the team identity. Its one of the small things which has helped at Lynn since 2005.

Snyper1010
Don if you dont agree with what i say i cant help that but im afraid i wont be changing my ideals/morals/opinion just to keep people happy. That aint my style, i say what i think and if people cant deal with that well then its them with the problem not me.

Who mentioned anything about anyone getting excited about the photo shoot, for my part I started the thread simply because they look smart and it's perhaps a small starter to helping put the great back into TeamGreatBritain ................ we/they have to start somewhere eh! If speedway is for some part a mind game then it's so important to be positive, if the riders feel positive vibes, read positive comments and hear positive remarks from the fans it's got to help them to some extent? You'll never hear an aussie slagging off one of their own and the same should go for us shouldn't it?
