Try the Queen's Vaults across the road from the main entrance - the venue a few years back of a somewhat refreshed Carl Stonehewer masterclass(!) in cue artistry witnessed by Mark Loram and various others!

I only know my leagues rules.

How about the standard stuff?

Foul = 2 shots with free ball on 1st shot

Foul = White can be moved to the D

What you pot 1st, you keep

2 shots on black

Or if you'd care to post up the world rules then we all know what we're doing.

On Friday I'll do a draw (with thisisme as witness) for 1/4 final matches

Two shots carry - Yes

White anywhere behind the line

Do you play a ball must reach a cushion or be potted on each shot ? (or can you roll up to a ball)

If you dont know World Rules, we better not bother with them as you can deliberatly foul, can't pot a free ball and you must play from where the white lands even after a foul unless you are foul snookered.

Roll up, snookering is part of the fun

White anywhere behind the line

Suits me, easier that way

Why the hell would anyone want the deliberate foul rule?! In our league, deliberate foul = lose the game.

I'm happy enough just to have a game of pool though, I'll happily play whatever rules anyone wants.

Oh, just to worry you all, I'm Sainsburys Dronfield Pool Champion
