Ghostwalker
thanks puma23. were is the nearest club i might have missed a club that is nearer but after a look at the map it seems as Torun is the nearest club, some 210km to the northwest
HenryW
were is the nearest club It depends what standard of speedway you want to see. If you are happy with lower league action, the nearest is probably Łódź, which is around 120KM from Warsaw.
pawel115
Lodz is the closest speedway team ,in my opinion Warsaw was never a speedway city they had teams in the past in lower leagues and Polish Individual Championship final was held there in 1996. Lake Bodom Comet
Think Warsaw team rode at the Gwardia football stadium near the centre of Warsaw but they dropped out of the 2nd Division a couple of years ago. If I remember correctly Andy Smith was in the team. There have been rumours of maybe a Polish Individual Championship meeting being staged there but so far nothing definite...shame really as Warsaw pretty easy trip for British fans! superguest
There is so much to do and see in Warsaw, there is no real need for Speedway. I'd imagine like any area that is built up that land is just too expensive. Most of the teams are on the west side of Polska. It's far easier for British fans (and cheapier) to travel to Poznan or Wroclaw anyway.

Deano
This one? Shame, they probably still had crowds that we would envy over here. You could still take photo's and send them into speedwayplus?
marcel
whenever i see whole speedway stadiums like that lay dorment it always feels such a shame when you think massive crowds have witnessed good racing there especially when you know its only time before it becomes a building plot
