Cardiff Track Reserves

Recommended Posts

I see that on Worldspeedway.com it says that Tai and Simon Stead will be the Track Reserves for this year's event. Does this mean Lee Richardson turned it down or wasn't asked?

I would have thought as he finished 4th in the British Final (with his only poor ride of the night!)he should get one of those spots before Stead. I know it doesn't matter that much as quite likely neither will get a ride at Cardiff but it would be nice to know that Lee was asked before the 5th place rider.

Lee has his GP qualifier in Gorican Croatia the same evening.

Makes sense why he is not at Cardiff then as he wants to get back into the GP properly.

It is a bit daft of the FIM to hold a qualifier on the same night as a GP but i suppose it is Speedway!
