Steve Shovlar
I wouldn't put a pound on Nicholls. Think Eddie is a very good bet, though I won't bet on meetings like this. He could top score and lose the final. Kennett V bridger. Both ride Poole well. Also Richardson was excellent last week when he gated. rabbit
I'd agree...Richardson and Nicholls (imo the two most likely to win it) are going to have to be on top form to beat Bridger and Kennett on recent showings. Harris could do well if the outside line is working, but he's not the only one of this bunch to like that route so could find his way blocked if he tries it. Don't discount Screenie putting a spanner in the works for a couple of them either. A very open British Final in my book. Just a shame we go to a damn Grand Final instead of best of 5 rides. Could be won from the gate after an evening of passing. That would be a gutter.
21st century heathen
Both are 250/1 to win the GP, in any individual GP Scott is always a shorter price than Harris, something like 20/1 and 33/1. http://www.ladbrokes.com/lbr_portal *edit* - ooops, sorry, that doesn't link directly to the right page. Ladbrokes have Nicholls as the ousider on their GP page. Bomber, Walasek and Ulamek are shorter odds. Just a shame we go to a damn Grand Final instead of best of 5 rides. Yep, same nonsense as the league. You don't necessarily need to be the best, just be in the mix. You could score about 8 and take the title from someone that had a maximum. hyderd
If you have Excel, I've thrown together a scorecard which can be found here. http://homepage.ntlworld.com/ampmracing/speedway1.html Either one you can use on a laptop or an A4 printable version. cheers Gonzo. (the point i was making is 250/1 is stupidy short but as you have called mt bluff i feel obliged to take up the challange to an amount i can afford, i cant say fairer than that) my email is fhgja@hotmail.co.uk if you want me to confirm this privately I will pay up i am a man of my word. (by the way this is a one off, i aint giving £200 to everyone in the (very) unlikely event of this happening!!
T.N.T.
I am really hoping that the top four scores dont include Scott Nicholls or Chris Harris so the final will not only be a shoot out for the title, but also for the 16th spot at Cardiff next month. Tai Woffinden, Lewis Bridger, Edward Kennett and Daniel King would be my choice for the showdown.

Steve Shovlar
No chance King will make the final. More like 8-10 points at best.
