Maybe the two heat wins does put him ahead which would explain it.

Personally (Dekker feel free to object as that is your life) I thought until the final there was only one winner - The Russian Wizzwid called Emil who's second name I havent yet learned to type. I thought he and Lindbck would domintae the final Crump & Pedersen battling it out for a point, Crump being lucky to be there since Lindgren chucked his bike away in the semi after hitting that rut - harsh on AJ.

The first running of the final I thought Emil was looking to take a dive knowing Pedersen was going quicker than he and fair play to Pedersen for finally finding a setup that worked, only Pedersen taking care of Lindback gave the Russian a chance to hit the front. Bad call from the referee. Lindback bottled the second running, Crump made an awesome gate but wasn't going to hold off teenager.

But mostly I thought... The track was a mess, a dangerous horrible mess. Lot's of ruts, lots of dust. They'd have been better off not grading it towards the end (last 7ish heats) - which is all I saw.

Hmmm...yeah, you might be right.

Seems that they gave it to Holta on having 2 firsts....Thought that it was head to head if it was just 2 riders on the same points, but maybe that aint the case.

FIM Regulations 077.9.2: Ties

After the completion of Heat 20, 21 or 22

When establishing the order between the riders in the list of Intermediate

Classification at the conclusion of Heat 20, or following the completion of the

Semi-Final Heats 21 and 22, any ties will be solved as follows:

a) Precedence will be given to the riders (tied on race points) having the most

number of 1st, 2nd, 3rd or 4th placings (a '0' for last placing is better than

being disqualified for whatever reason).

B ) If the tie still persists and involves only 2 riders, precedence will be given to

the better placed rider in the heat or heats where the 2 riders met.

c) If the tie still persists and involves more than 2 riders, it shall be checked

whether there is a possibility to determine a proper precedence (e.g.

3 riders tied on points: A, B, C:

rider A has beaten rider B

rider A has beaten rider C

rider B has beaten rider C

Then the precedence will be: best position for rider A, then rider B and then

rider C.

24

d) If solutions a), B ) and c) cannot resolve the tie, then the lowest riding

number jacket will be deemed the better placed rider.

This forum is going downhill fast with some of the football style abuse that is going on here...wouldnt be a bad idea if some of the posters were reviewed and censored or even suspended fora while...there will always be disagreements we arent all exempt from them but the level of abuse is rising..whatever happened to the fair minded fans? Disgraceful.

Another garbage GP which only woke up as the track cut up. The first few heats were a major snooze.

Sayfutdinov is a major talent, how good could this kid get??. Got lucky in the final though, Pedersen's exclusion was a shocking decision.

Agree about the track but its a problem with temporary tracks.Hard luck on Chris Harris who made a good them hit a rut, took off towards the fence and came last, but for that he just may have sneaked into the semi-finals.Nicholls,yet another GP nightmare and to be honest he might be better off out of there asap.

What ever happened to the fair minded Pedersen, the one that doesnt fence riders half way down the straight, the one who doesnt flop off his bike behind other riders, the one who doesnt ride the rider not the track, the one who doesnt abuse the refs if anything goes against him?

No it isnt, the Dirty Rotten Cheating Scumbag Scoundrel Dane is getting payback, once the others sense his weakness he really be in trouble. Can't wait to see the tantrum once Emil turns right on Pedersen and drives him face first into the fence half way down a straight like he did to Ermolenko and Hancock and the ref excludes the Dirty Dane.

Super, Great, Let's have more of it, Lets run the Dirty Dane out of town.....
