MARK246
He started the cheating, if he suffers, tough. Bout time the refs stood up to him, Maybe Emil is harder than Pedersen and that's why he is scared. Harder and better
Wolfsbane
.....Emil didn't give way but leaned in to fool the ref and went down, making sure he got his back wheel in NP's racing line. Eh?? If he got his back wheel there he's just rewritten the laws of physics
Snyper1010
Schramble i dont care who did what when and where. My point is i dont want to see this kind of cheating making its way into speedway week in week out. The ref played right into Emils hands and ruined the meeting. bruno
i agree about nicki what goes around comes around etc but this was a wrong decision by the ref.also i hate to say it but i enjoyed this one but only compared to the last two.like cardiff its not speedway just ride and hope you can have a go at scott but seeing him like that nots funny
Phillip Addison
Some people need to remove their blinkers before watching the next GP. NP has been to blame for some very agressive tactics in the past and, as has been said, he might be suffering for his past reputation. But these new tactics of riders allowing their front wheel to be touched and then going down, when they could have avoided the contact, is to my mind tantamount to cheating. NP had clearly passed Emil and was on the racing line, Emil didn't give way but leaned in to fool the ref and went down, making sure he got his back wheel in NP's racing line. He didnt keep to his line. As someone else pointed out, sorry cant remember who, he moves OUT slightly going into the bend. Sayfutdinov never changes his line. Pedersen had loads of room to pass the guy cleanly on the inside [ maybe wanted to avoid the ruts ] but simply took his front wheel away. To accuse Emil of cheating is ridiculuos

Ghostwalker
Puzzled at the restraint riders appear to show regarding any criticism of the track on TV. At the end, Crump appeared to be diplomatic when you had the feeling that what he really wanted to say was 'the track is a pile of ****! Are the riders ordered to tow some kind of party line? actually the Swedish commentators Johan Ejeborg and Erik Stenlund said that there had been complaint from the riders about the state of the track. Too slick, Too hard, too dry and too difficult. But i wonder if IMG/Ole really care if the do they shouldnt hold agp on Ullevi in the first place. On top of that Ole's claims that the track "is 100% better then last year" is just pathetic.
Dekker
Great week for blazeaway the plastic manc and dane, Man u humiliated and Pedersen hoisted by his own petard, what will mr prawn sarnie do. GOING DOWN PEDERSEN YOUR GOING DOWN HERE COMES EMIL.
salty
The ruts in the track made it a lottery, but to be fair for the first few heats when the track was smooth it was very much follow the leader. Pedersen can whinge all he likes but if the roles were reversed he would have been saying "he took my front wheel" - can't have it both ways! NP Is the master of this tactic. Last year he did it against Crump. Harsh decision, but then again a lot of riders have been on the wrong end of harsh decisions with NP. Wolfsbane
Pedersen can whinge all he likes but if the roles were reversed he would have been saying "he took my front wheel" - can't have it both ways! And therein lies his problem. Loves to dish it out but squeals foul when someone returns serve.
srbramble
Schramble i dont care who did what when and where. My point is i dont want to see this kind of cheating making its way into speedway week in week out. The ref played right into Emils hands and ruined the meeting. Sorry mate, but I disagree. My view is that Nicki went into the corner to turn late on Emil, leaving him nowhere to go. If he hadn't looked round and slowed, Nicki would have cleaned him out completely. Was Emil supposed to not turn, and just drive straight into the fence? We have had plenty of referees dancing to Nickis' tune for a while now, and now they are wise to him. The only person who "spoiled" the meeting, was Nicki. Emil was a worthy winner, with some tremendous bravery and passing around the boards, whereas Nicki used some of his usual tactics throughout the night. If he concentrated on riding differently, he might be able to focus on the job in hand, instead of touting controversy all the time, and actually start winning again.
