Nice attempt, but then you're not including behind closed doors practice and press and practice day?
elnno
story of my wife life but thinking about it I have probably been at Hoddesdon more often this season than Chris Neaths Spanner man!! Still stretching the imagination I see. Any way what we can agree on is that you pay so have the right to say. Just make sure its factual or of knowledgeable accuracy. Broad brushes can paint an awful picture

Just make sure its factual or of knowledgeable accuracy. Broad brushes can paint an awful picture FFS - All I am saying is that £4 for a child admission is too much especially in light that EL promotions generally admit under 11's in for free... THAT'S A FACT! You obviously don't pay an entry fee so what right do you really have to comment on my initial remark? You attitude could reflects poorly on the rider you spanner for...! crazysue
Is there anyone going to this meeting who would be able to text updates to the updates site? If so, could you please either leave a message here or send me an email or pm. Thanks
ash
Well after todays practice here's my verdict; Man to beat: Lewis Bridger Most impressive unknown rider: Adam Kajoch / Kai Huckenbeck Rider to watch: Wim Kennis First to bite the dust: Darcy Ward Worst crash: Tai Woffinden through the 2nd bend fence, got up fine Funniest moment of the day: Lewis Bridger impersonating Wim Kennis by riding behind him (you'll find out tomorrow) Have to note how Kozza Smith was today, was VERY smooth compared to the last time I saw him at Rye! Robert Mear was a non starter at Rye today, unfortunately I didn't hear the explanation by Bryn over the tanoy. Bandits4eva
Well after todays practice here's my verdictAfter looking at various weather forecasts here's MY verdict: A VERY wet track, rain for most of the morning, and some showers in the afternoon. jgudgeon
Kajoch is very impressive. As always with Poles, he's got good kit and comes across as being very professional. Might be caught out with the size of the track, but will be there or thereabouts methinks. Good luck Ricky! Edit: Kajoch averaged 3.73 in the Ekstraliga for Leszno lasy year. Higher than Tai, Max, Schlein, Klindt amongst others. Edited May 16, 2009 by Josh-Buzz-
Bagpuss
Have to note how Kozza Smith was today, was VERY smooth compared to the last time I saw him at Rye! You must be mistaken mate....according to dekker he is the devil incarnate who has no control over a speedway machine Edited May 16, 2009 by Bagpuss
em1500uk
Just found out we'll be heading down to Rye for this Let's hope the weather is kind to us all!
hooversquash
News from todays practice session was that Zmarzlik Pawel was the one to watch. Extreamly fast & comfortable around the Rye track. All the brit's were as expected apart from Woofy who spent time demolishing the 2nd bend fence on more than one occasion! Darcy was erratic. No change there then. ash
News from todays practice session was that Zmarzlik Pawel was the one to watch. Extreamly fast & comfortable around the Rye track. He was good but a few times he did straighten up coming out of the bend, hence why I chose Adam Kajoch & Kai Huckenbeck who were very fast and controlled. Still cannot see past the Brits and Aussies however to go through.

frigbo
Based on the weather, the Swindon mafia have made an executive decision not to travel. Shame, I was looking forward to Wim Kennis winding it on!
Shadders
Based on the weather, the Swindon mafia have made an executive decision not to travel.I was at Rye for the U21 a couple of years ago when Sayjfutinov(?) won the meeting in atrocious conditions ..... there is no way a domestic meeting would've even started with the track that wet ..... The track will have to be under six inches of water for the FIM to abandon this meeting.

We're less than half an hour away and the novelty of seeing a wet track at Rye is too tempting to miss!!

I,m with you we have made the decision not to go to Rye today was really looking forward to this meeting just not worth spending £20 on fuel £15 to get in plus a prog and some food just to watch a wet speedway meeeting . Good luck to Darcy and Kozza this aftrnoon lets hope its a safe meeting for everyone .
