I see it's a team meeting, Aus vs Rest of the World. Why? People go to support the riders, not a team, what association do the fans have with the rest of the World? I never understand why rider have team meetings at testimonials, nobody cares, they want to see their rider win.

I thought you went to testimonials to support just one rider?

Maybe we should just send a cheque to all rider who have a testimonial? By having PK and Matej in the same team, people are robbed of a race between the 2, have a 16 rider individual and they have to race each other.

I belive you can all surport one rider in the grand final :D. I think thats how there doing it sure i read it somwhere.
But that won't solve the problem I mentioned above.

I'm with SCB on this one. Whilst it's still a fantastic lineup, the fans see team events like this week in week out and with the sort of riders Lemo has managed to get to ride, it should definitely be run along the lines of the Grand Prix format with 16 riders all having 5 rides each, racing against every rider once with a grand final come the end for the four highest points scorers.

Shame really, as it's looking like a great lineup.

It's no good making it an individual event because of the vast difference between riders like Crump and Zagar and also some big names yet to be announced riding against what would be Elite League reserves like Johno, Kramer and Gathercole. With a team event all points count and therefore it's more interesting than having races where it's obvious who is going to win.

But nobody cares if Australia or rest of the World wins. So looking at it your way, why bother? Either way you get Crump, Zagar and PK vs Johno, Kramer and Gathercole but in an individual you get Crump, Zagar and PK racing each other, now, Zagar and PK won't bother nor will Johno or Gathercole.

Why doe sit mater if Krammer does beat Johno? It's not like the Krammer fans can enjoy it as he's not gained anything for himself, just the "rest of the world" who nobody will be supporting.

Team events at testimonials are a massive let down, they should be individuals, I've yet to meet anyone who wants to team event made up of random teams at testimonials on the other hand I've met many who want individual meetings.
