Wackie
It will be re-staged on Thursday 17th September. Poland will be in the midst of their play-offs, Sweden will all but have finished and it's between GP's. I can confirm that Leigh will ride in the Swindon team and Matej will ride in the Reading team. Johnno will also now be able to ride in the Oxford side. I hope to be able to announce other high-profile names in next few days whilst retaining the level of interest in the individual teams for their fan base. Cheers Patch Orion, can I borrow my t-shirt back for the evening, don't worry I'll wash it before and after I wear it. Excellent news that the meeting is being re-staged so soon, get the feeling we're not going to get many chances over at least the next few years to see any Reading team on track. willp
I cannot wait for this meeting now as i would have missed the original date at the end of July. Fingers crossed everything goes ok this time around and of course the Heathens win

KiddlyKestrel
Okay Rob, fair enough you might not have disliked the Ginger one but how many Cheetahs fans really appreciated him at the time he was at Sandy Lane? Answers on a postage stamp, I reckon!!! As someone has already posted could Greg be next please to ride for Cradley though and not Oxford or Reading... KK - actually Crumpie wasn't my favourite rider back in 1998, but he's clearly matured a lot since then. He seems to be one of the more of the popular winners at the GP BBQs at Kildington, so judging by that cross-section of Oxford fans, his presence will be very much welcome. Anyone who doesn't appreciate having Crumpie, easily the best rider in the world, ride for their team must be mad. All the best Rob
Grachan
So it's Adams for Swindon, Zagar for Reading and Crumpie for O*f*rd. Has to be Hancock in for Cradley now, surely? If not, the only other rider I could think of would be Hans Andersen and his Erik Gundersen leathers (or whatever they call them these days). Starting to look like the cancellation of the original meeting was a blessing in disguise.

Crump was a petulant brat in his Oxford days but that was 10 years ago and he liek all of us is a lot older and wiser these days. Nobody will forget him slapping Todd but its in the past and his popularity is probably at an all time high down here You should know that being a local Edited August 10, 2009 by Chris Brown

With Swindon having Adams and Zagar in the line-up I would be very happy to see Grin and Hans turn out for Cradley if at all possible. Fingers crossed. The new line-up is really taking shape now and looks much stronger than originally. So, yes, a blessing in disguise. Though I would liike to go on record as being appreciative of all the efforts to get the original on and to the riders that were 'signed up'. willp
Hans Andersen rides for Cradley. Of the top riders available Hans is my favourite choice to ride for us apart from obviously Greg Hancock. I reckon Hans will be very keen to ride for us what with Erik Gundersen being his hero. Hans and Adam Shields give us a decent top end to our team to match Swindon, Reading & Oxford's. Just out of interest, we have got our AGM this coming Thursday at Cradley Heath Liberal Club (8pm) and following that will be a Speedway Race Night with the top prize being x2 admission tickets to this meeting. Entry to the race night is just £1 per person so if any Cradley fans want to win some tickets then come along on Thursday!
