Louise
Hi, Can anyone tell me if any Premier League Clubs have started to sell GP Tickets yet please ? And if so, how much are they ? I have contacted the BSPA Office in Rugby several times, but they havent replied to my query and I would like to get my tickets ASAP. Thanks
uk_martin
I don't think that the PL clubs are getting ticket allocations this year the way that they have in the past. At Birmingham, we previously packaged tickets and travel for the purchasers of the Birmingham block allocations, but that's all gone out of the window this year. The Supporters Club contacted the SGP's promoters, and found out that they no longer believe in discounts for block purchases so no way forward there. Seems that anyone who wants to go to the SGP has to buy a full price ticket, on their own, direct from the "official sources". Can't wait to see what impact that has on the numbers going. arthur cross
I'm not sure of the exact reason but the BSPA have definitely broken away from their agreement with BSI in previous seasons that led to every club being sent Cardiff tickets ... mind you, those tickets that were sent to the clubs often proved to be 3rd/4th bend seats that were quite a bit more expensive than making your own bookings for the 1st/2nd bend seats. Is it possible that someone at the BSPA (or at any rate the PL part of it) has woken up to the fact that the GP may actually be detrimental to the interests of the Premier League? It always seemed to me that PL tracks selling GP tickets was akin to turkeys voting for an early Christmas.

rhidassa
For the past few years Rye House have run an official coach to the Cardiff GP with tickets on offer.....I haven't hear any announcements so far this year. The same with Kings Lynn. Though I do recall hearing that there would be a coach running from someone, though there's no mention of it in the programme I've just glanced through. *shrug* Edited April 26, 2009 by rhidassa
