Ghostwalker
the final transfer windows this season will open on Monday and closes on the following Sunday. Since Smederna have dropped out I think there will be some new signings here are my "Predictions": Batchelor to Vargarna King to Rospiggarna Jagus to Piraterna Max to Valsarna Zorro to Indianerna Kasprzak to ?? Buczkowski i doubt he gets a new ride in Sweden Miskowiak probably no new team either. Vaculik shouldnt have any problems to find a new club. Although Indianerna have to sack one rider to be able to fit Zorro in, the same goes for Vargarna.
Anders
Batchelor to Vargarna Kasprzak to ?? Troy Batchelor to Vargarna? Quite possibly as they were interested earlier this season. Would most likely be on the expence of Edward Kennett who has a starting average way to high in comparison to what he actually scores. Also swap Screen for Kasprzak and Vargarna would have an interesting team... Nicholls 6.99, Batchelor 7.15, Kasprzak 6.56, Miedzinski 6.20, Shields 6.59, Skornicki 4.41 and Nilsson 4.07 (= 41.97) Would be hard on Woffinden though... King to Rospiggarna Can only see this if he supposed to be a short term replacement for Sebastian Ulamek, OR if they choose to go with a reserve partnership of Daniel King and a 2.00 junior (Robin Burestad) instead of Travis McGowan/ Jonas Messing. Can't see team manager Mikael Messing doing that to his son (Jonas). Jagus to Piraterna Could happen as Piraterna is one of a few teams able to fit him in under the 42.00 maximum average limit. Tomasz Chrzanowski will be the one to leave if that's the case, and the management can then go with a line-up of: Jagus, Dobrucki, Davidsson, Lindbäck, Balinski/Sajfutdinov, Nermark and Sundström. The Pirates could use some top end strength. Zorro to Indianerna Makes sense, as he has publicly stated how he enjoyed last season at Indianerna. Matej Ferjan could be the victim, especially if he doesn't score much tonight. "Zorro" and Jesper B Monberg as second strings would be a good duo. Max to Valsarna Vaculik shouldnt have any problems to find a new club. Max won't be heading for Valsarna, but wherever he goes, he should be a good contributor. He isn't a favourite of mine, but he's had one heck of a season. Vaculik should be fixed up indeed, but I can't figure out where. Buczkowski i doubt he gets a new ride in Sweden Miskowiak probably no new team either. With Miskowiak going back to Britain, I don't think he is that interested to ride in Sweden as a third country. Buczkowski is a different matter and could to a good job in Allsvenskan on a 8.75 average. With limited riding, he should be willing to ride in Allsvenskan, to keep match fitness. Griparna could do worse than to target Buczkowski. Filip Sitera and Simon Nielsen have redicously high averages, Oliver Allen is often injured and Kenneth Hansen's committments in Britain could cause problems, so Buczek would be a good fit, or Martin Vaculik for that matter. (Niklas Klingberg, Juha Hautamäki, Krzysztof Buczkowski, Andreas Lekander, Kim Nilsson, Jonas Andersson, Sebastian Carlsson = 44.82 / 45.00)

With the current conversion to an Allsvenskan average, those riders get a 9.33 average in Allsvenskan. It makes it very difficult for new riders to enter the league structure, if the club doesn't have patience with them, because none (or at least very few) can hold on to that average. Kevin Wölbert was registred in the Örnarna squad earlier this year, but he had to make way to accommodate one of Lejonen's riders that was transferred to Örnarna. (Lejonen is Örnarna's partnership team)

Ghostwalker
there is supposed to be 3 meetings in Allsvenskan tonight but i am pretty sure that atleast two of those; Getingarna-Hammarby (stockholm derby) and Masarna-Valsarna will be postponed due to very intensive and heavy rain which hit Sweden late y'day evening and it have rained all night and it is expected to rain all day aswell. Örnarna-Solkatterna might still be able to go ahead as planned since it haven't the rain that in taht part of the country. davidba
Just back from my trip to see Vargarna v Vastervik. Really enjoyed it, weather stayed good, racing was good and the match evenly poised until the end. Sat with lots of pissed Vastervik and cheered on Bomb Ber(As they called him) and Gollob with them, though Laguta was better than Tomasz. However Vargarna's strength in depth won it in the end and Tai and Scotty did their bits though Eddie K though never far behind didn't score many points. Mind you Miedzinski didn't do him any favours, team riding obviously not his strong point! It rained heavily as i left Norkkoping this morning so was extra lucky with the conditions. Now just have to decide where i go in August instead of Smedarna! Thanks again for all your help everybody.
Ghostwalker
nice to hear that you enjoyed the visit to Norrköping. If i where you. If possible i would make a trip one week later then your originally planned and visit Piraterna at Motala on the 25th of August for the meeting between Piraterna and Rospiggarna and then travel north to Eskilstuna on following wednesday (26th) for the Division 1 meeting between Team Bikab (Smederna's Division 1 team) and Stjärnorna. How ever you will need a car to be able to get from Eskilstuna to Smedstadion for the Division 1 meeting since there are no bus connection for the Div1. meetings at Smedstadion. Motala is some 150 km west of Nyköping/skavsta and some 170km southwest of Eskilstuna.

Ghostwalker
Any news on whether Mikael Max has found a new team yet? nope there are probably a couple of teams that are interested. Rospiggarna was interested but now thinks his salary demands are too high. other Swedish news is that young talent ANton Rosén has withdrawn from the JEM (Euro U19?) final this weekend due to a crash earlier this week.
