PhilK
Unfortunately the charming coffee seller at Rye managed to throw a cup all over my programme So I'd be grateful if anyone has the heat details, times and scorers as mine are unreadable. Also Brendan Freemantles solo times would be appreciated Cheers

In heat 2 should that read Morris f/x rather than Bovis?
Yvonne Owen
I believe the time for Brandon Freemantle was 66 sec exactly. Unfortunately he did fall in the second one but was looking good in it.
PhilK
In heat 2 should that read Morris f/x rather than Bovis? Yes I think thats right Neil, also it was Sam Heath , not Hurst who rode. But thanks for the info everyone
Parsloes 1928 nearly
Yes I think thats right Neil, also it was Sam Heath , not Hurst who rode. But thanks for the info everyone Yep - I had a nagging feeling it was Heath not Hurst... But I did have mega-mouth Billy in my ear rambling on about summat or another all meeting; so by the second half I could've been excused for hearing anything... And as you say, Morris was the faller in the first staging of heat two. To clarify, Ashley fell after young Adam had already fallen and cleared the track so the FT's '09 'mascot' was excluded from the restart for not being under power at the point the race was stopped... LOL I did feel sorry for you Derek, thats why my visit for a chat was curtailed rather quickly See you later at Mildenhall And as you say, Morris was the faller in the first staging of heat two. Yes, thats how I remembered it! apart from the falls a good second half event I thought.
Shadders
1) Owen; Laurence; Rumsey; Morley fell 61.6 [3-3] 3) Owen; Hurst; Kirby; Morley NS 61.2 [9-8] Impressive times from Marc Owen
Parsloes 1928 nearly
Impressive times from Marc Owen As always, shadders; as always!! Surprised to see Marc beaten in his final ride, though...: but having missed the gate he gave Nick Laurence a real race for his money and I think it's all invaluable experience.... It will be great when Marc turns 15 and becomes a Funky Fen Tiger!!!!
