nob nob
Tribute acts are ok as long as its a top notch band like these... Have seen a few Queen tribute bands, its like all things some good some are rubbish, These are one of the better Queen acts ive seen... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ki1FTNjPriY
Seb the Snail
So it's a Queen tribute then, what's the betting we get a rendition of "Bicycle Race". I always preferred the flip side "Fat Bottomed Girls" myself! No doubt most of us will be staggering to the stadium from the PoW when they're on anyway. loyal royal
I hope its not the one we had at Reading a couple of years back, they were awful ! They should have gone for the Illegal Eagles, saw them a few weeks ago, absolutely brilliant.......... shazzybird
Because on 23.05.08 when discussing last year's Cardiff entertainment I tongue in cheek suggested bringing The Samber Ants back you said and I quote "What were they all about. Give me a couple of WKD's and a pair of stilts I could dance like that" whereupon I replied I would like to see that. You then replied that someone in your family had a drum kit and you had been known to have a go. and ...... your point is???? Bugger-Do I have to? Errrr ....... yes you do!!!! Yup , you don't leave the pub until the pre-meeting bollocks is completely finished and it's safe to take your seat .
Nevs
Yup , you don't leave the pub for the stadium until you absolutely have to and it's safe to take your seat . Don't forget it starts at 5pm this year Paulco, otherwise we could be passing you coming in, as we are all going out after the firework finale handing you a completed programme. And the person responsible for that lot has still got a job? Some local pub venues do better than that. Maybe its the local pubs who arrange it. Keeps everyone outside until the last minute. At least that would explain such shocking lineups. Edited May 9, 2009 by srbramble
tomhaines
Maybe the pre-meeting entertainment should be Scott Nicholls vs the Under 15's this year... I know who i'd have my money on!

johnc
Call me old fashioned, but some passing would be sufficient entertainment for me

So the pre-meeting entertainment is an extra and not really what people go for?
colincooke
I've just been reading Jeff Scott's " Shifting Shale" & it appears that BSI used a "Queen Tribute" band at their leg of the 2006 play off final at Reading The book gives the very honest impression that the band we're utter pish & couldn't even sing in tune. Please don't tell me BSI have brought these Goons back.
squall
Please don't tell me BSI have brought these Goons back. I couldn't care less. Not seen any entertainment in all my trips to Cardiff. Pubs are cheaper than the stadium
