Shortcrust
Echo all that Andrew, good post, just about sums up the evening... well done to all concerned for putting on a good one. Tom should be very pleased and satisfied everything went smoothly. Was great to see Trav back at the NA again, would love to see that guy in our PL side one day.. Daniel Smith
An absolutely brilliant nights racing last night. Sanchez, Schramm and Graversen all looked well on the pace with the EL boys just the main ingredient missing, gating. All the riders used every line they could, inside and out. Graversen and Bjerre most certainly liked the round the boards line. There was plenty of wheel to wheel racing. I most certainly didn't expect that last night. OK. Here comes a moan everyone. Scott Nicholls, what an absolute arogant arse that bloke is. In heat 10 Topinka was right up his exhaust pipe all race, inside and out, yet at the end, Topinka put out his hand, Nicholls refused so Topinka punched him on the arm and he just turned away and went back to the pit. This bloke is soppose to be GB captain. He was rubbishe all night and can't even apprieciate a good race with a fellow rider. Simon Stead was better value than that piece of turd. If he's the best what Team GB have (which in my opinion he isn't) then we really are is deep doodoo.
AndyP
BIG CROWD TURN OUT FOR TOM P ENTERTAINMENT was the name of the game at Tom P. Madsen’s Testimonial on Friday evening at King’s Lynn. For the record Madsen’s quartet won the four-team event, but the real winner on the night were the fans who turned out to support the popular Dane. The Berwick asset put on a super show for the bumper Norfolk Arena crowd, with some great racing on the track, as well as a deluge of entertainment going on, off it. The individual star of the night was Grand Prix superstar Hans Andersen who scored a faultless 12-point maximum and his Team Industrial Links team was ably backed by former Reading star Ulrich Ostergaard, who scored an impressive 10. However the Danish duo couldn’t stop Team Hayley East Anglia storming to victory by a two-point margin, with Kevin Doolan (10), Kenneth Bjerre (9), Simon Stead (9) and Madsen (3), contributing to their 31-point tally. Madsen was delighted with how the evening went. He said: “I’ve been really nervous all week in the lead up to the meeting, but thankfully everything went really well. “The riders put on a great show for the fans and it was heart-warming to see such a big crowd turn out on what was a cold night. It means an awful lot to me to have so many people attend and the feedback we’ve received suggests that they really enjoyed themselves. “The band we booked warmed things up nicely before the start and the racing on the track afterwards was very competitive, I thought. “After the meeting was over we had an auctioning of all the race jackets and that was very well received as well. “All-in-all, it was a great night and is something that will stay with me for a long time.” SCORERS: TEAM SHAUN HAGEN MOTOR SERVICES 24 Niels Kristian Iversen 6, Travis McGowan 5, Tomas Topinka 7, Emiliano Sanchez 6 Team Manager: Keith Chapman TEAM INDUSTRIAL LINKS 29 Hans Andersen 12, Ulrich Ostergaard 10, Jesper Kristiansen 2, Chris Schramm 5 Team Manager: John Adams TEAM P.K. Looking forward to seeing Tully in particular after his sparkling performance at the EoES on Thursday. ajh has pretty much summed the night up to a tee, there was some very good action despite the slick and dusty conditions. Great turn out for Tom P, and encouraging signs from all four Stars.
rhidassa
looks like a fairly decent standard of field... and the visiting riders will be of even higher quality on Wednesday Course if you're attending, the travelling support wont be of a higher quality. It was a good meeting, though I grudge having to queue to get in & to get food.. maybe I just lack patience.

tas
Really enjoyed the meeting last night. Well done to Tom P and all concerned for an excellent line up. Hans is a class act and the others had to follow. I was cheering for the Blue and Yellow team so was really happy that Hans got a max and that the yellow team won. Thought that Simon Stead rode well. Also pleased with my race jacket from the auction. Good luck to Tom P for the season Tina and family x

crikeythatsfast
It was a great meeting, fantastic to see the PL riders and the one (i think) NL rider all out and mixing it with the big boys. A fantastic show of support for Tom P by the fans on what was a nice but chilly night.
