SwineTown
Yep - he did. I must be rusty at this "posting" lark....
gambitman
Swindon is a bit of a poo hole, but it does have taxis Seriously, a taxi is your only bet really, unless you can scrounge a lift. Thanks, I suspect I am the only one who will travel by train... Another question: Can I be sure that I will get tickets on the event or I'd better to buy them online? Seb the Snail
gambitman - there will definitely be plenty of tickets available on the night.

nigelb
Yep - he did. I must be rusty at this "posting" lark.... no problem - thanks for the info, we need to eat! and after the experience of the curry sauce on the second bend last year......less said the better! Ah well, looks like ducking in and out of the bar all evening - just like the New Year classic really; hope it is reasonably warm at Newport earlier in the day. keef
There's the Jovial Monk hostelry run by jovial ex-Robins legend "Mad Wellie" Malc Holloway...situated on the St.Andrews Ridge estate, about a few hundred yards across the field from the Abbey Stadium, or about a half-mile by road. Mateusz
Emil won't ride in this one. Neither will he in Bjarne's testimonial at Poole. The Russian torpedo hasn't got / won't get (don't know all details of this news) proper visas on time and can't go to UK. Such farce shouldn't happen again though as Emil has officially got Polish citizenship today and once he gets his Polish ID he'll be allowed to travel freely within the EU. Seb the Snail
Emil won't ride in this one. Neither will he in Bjarne's testimonial at Poole. What a nightmare; he was the main attraction IMHO. Let's hope that him and Troy are the only probable non-runners?
Silver Bee
Excellent news
Rico
Gutted that there will be no Emil on show, however the line-up is still excellent. Would be great if a decent replacement could be announced rather than promoting one of the reserves. Rico
crazysue
Firestormdax is unable to text on Sunday from this meeting, so is there anyone going to the meeting who would be able to text updates to the updates site? If so, could you please either leave a message here or send me an email or pm. Thanks
Silver Bee
I understand Mr. Snail will be one of the only people pleased with Emils replacement.

frigbo
http://www.swindon-speedway.co.uk/name-New...-sid-1809.phtml Oh dear, a potentially excellent line-up now looks far less inviting!
Silver Bee
To be honest, I'm hardly gutted at the prospect of missing out on Hampel, and the other 2 can't be helped.
Grachan
Bad luck on Troy and Emil. Not so sure about Hampel's excuse though.
