Yes, but remember that he can ride only 5 times (+ 1 tact subst + 1 RR). If he will replace someone from top 5, then number 6 must ride his heat

Still a chance of 7 rides tho so you're always gonna put the strong one at number 7 for this reason. A lot of Number 6's will get a bit of experience with the odd ride then. Something maybe us in the Elite League shud look at??

Looking forward to it tho, only 3 months to go!!

Do u know whats happening with tv rights etc?? Watched 2 matches most weekends last season on itvp.pl (i think!!) so hope its the same for this season.

Putting better junior at 7/15 is really good option - in most cases he replaces weakest junior from 6/14 but sometimes also another not so good rider ... The best option is to have 2 strong juniors - than you have quite good tactical situation ...

As for TV - public TV has the rights for Extraleague meetings and it should be the same situation like last season ... Unfortunately there is no TV interested in showing 1st and 2nd leagues - maybe at some regions local TV will show matches of their "own" teams.

Yes ;) But Przeglad Sportowy is not a newspaper which speedway fans like... They have many imagined facts...

What is this about Hans Andersen and Joonas Kylmäkorpi?

About Andersen only that he will be the leader of Gdańsk's team. About Kylmäkorpi manager of Gdańsk said that he want to lend him to club from 1st league, because Joonas probably will not be good enough for being in Wybrzeże's match squad. I don't know if this is good idea, Kylmäkorpi can be quite useful in Wybrzeże

This one gives the impression that he's heading for Rzeszow...

  • 2 weeks later...

Is there a transfer deadline day as i'm sure i read somewhere before that all teams had to be finalised by a certain date??

I notice that most clubs seem to have only 5 seniors signed up so if anyone gets injured or is unavailable they will be struggling with their team.

Presume more signings will be added to combat this potential problem??

Złoty Kask (Golden Helmet) is meeting in which teoretically are starting best Polish riders (10 riders with best averages from Extraliiga, and 6 riders with best averages from 1st league - I think that was in 2008). But nowadays it is not so prestige as few years ago, many riders resign from this meeting so not always there are starting best riders.

Thanks Vicar, for some reason I thought the Polish Golden Helmet was known by some other name, and even though it states Balinski won in 2008 and I knew he'd won the Polish Golden Helmet in 2008 I'm unsure why I didn't put 2 and 2 together.
