Sadly, but true Doug. His hand is broken and he has to have the whole arm in plaster for about 4 weeks.

Leon did a hard race here, roumors says.

I think Lasse was very unlucky. . . .

But I was not there, so it will all just be some second hand information.

The 2 Mikkels win their q-finals.Well they both should be contesting the big honours this season.Especially as some of the other big names have now moved up to 500cc.A couple of familiar names .....Peter Karger and Jason Jørgensen(sons of Brian and John...i think)...and also Simon Selch making it through to the semi's.I guess one forum member will be very proud at that

Sad to read that Holsteds Patrick Bjerregaard is out injured.I was only talking to Patricks father(and briefly to Patrick) at Vojens on friday. And Pats dad was saying he had 5 meetings this week in 7 days. But he was looking good in the no.5 spot for Holsted in the DSL.....speedy recovery

Can any danish fans help me with info about a meeting listed in the speedway star at Grindsted on Friday 21st August as the DFDS super cup final?

What is this meeting, do teams from the superleague have a ko cup final, if so when are qualifying rounds?

Thanks

david

Vojens 55

K.Bjerre (2,3,3,3,1,2)14

K.Jakobsen (0,3,2*,1,2*,3)11+2

P.Norgaard (3,2*,3,3,3,1*)15+2

R.Törnqvist (1,3,1,0,3,2*)10+1

M.J.Jensen (e.f,2*,1,2*)5+2

Fjelsted 32

S.Ulamek (3,e.f,2,6,1,2,3)15

C.Vissing (1,2,ex,2,2*,0,F.x)7+1

R.Bach (2,1,F.x,F,0)3

N.Barrett (0,1,0,0,F.x)1

S.Andersen (1*,1,1,1)4+1

Looks a bit one sided but it wasn't that bad a meeting. Some interesting battles going on between Jakobsen and Vissing and then Norgaard and bach had some good races.Vissing came hard under Klaus in one heat and wiped Klaus out.Claus was excluded. Then René was really going hard round the outside and lost control. Then he was having a great race with Klaus Jakobsen and in the last bend seemed to try and cut across Klaus to stop him coming through and had a spectacular fall.Luckily he got up,but didn't look so good in his last heat and must have pulled out of the nominated heat with bruises. The debut of LiGlad ........well he didn't look as impressive as in the Danish Final. But still looks to be a big talent for the future. Was in second place in his first heat before his bike packed up.And well.....he beat Ulamek and Vissing, just like i thought or hoped he might  There was also some very good team riding from Vojens which was nice.Patrick Norgaard continues to impress.......
