BWitcher
Hey, as long as Billy gets his butt back on a bike and Greg gets his butt over here for the day I'll be one very happy speedway fan. Butt = The extent of translation into American for that sentence. You forgot to add seeing Sam get his butt back on a bike, and then deposit it on the track in a traditional Ermolenko slide-off! Always something enjoyed by the Cradley contingent!
21st century heathen
It certainly was mate. I'd be concerned that the old boy might not be able to get back up again now though. Must be due a hip replacement soon.

Fourentee
Scott Nicholls also confirmed, so a good chance to see a rider who won't feature in the EL this year. Really looking forward to this meeting.

21st century heathen
Greg Hancock confirmed for the meeting. (official Wolves site). Scott Nicholls also confirmed, so a good chance to see a rider who won't feature in the EL this year. Really looking forward to this meeting. Great to have those two on board. I'd have been very surprised if Greg hadn't come over. Obviously riding with each other as kids back in America, riding together at Cradley, Coventry and Oxford and having Team Exide in the GPs means these two have had a close relationship throughout their career. An on-form Scott Nicholls is great to watch around Monmore, so he's a great addition whatever format the meeting takes. Glad to see Greg is coming to Billy's meeting. I'm really looking forward to it and I will definately be in attendance! Not sure how I'm getting there yet but I'll be there! You could fly to B'ham and get the train to W'ton. Virgin Trains run direct (with just a couple of stops) and only takes a bout 35 minutes. Local trains stop quite a number of times and you may need to change at B'ham New Street. There's a Travelodge (new so may not appear on websites yet), Travel Inn and Novotel all within quick and easy walking distance of the train station to offer cheap accommodation. The train station is right in the heart of the City and Monmore is just a couple of miles away. Whilst taxis are expensive these days it wouldn't really matter when you've already spent a significant ammount on a trip. If you want any info just let me know. Adam lives here in the USA. He is a very good Supermoto rider. Not sure if he has tried out Speedway. A lot of American lads seem to be leaning towards Supermoto or MotoX. It's a shame that more can't be tempted into speedway. Wouldnt the cheapiest and probably the quickest idea be to get the tram from Birmingham Snowhill to Priestfield, then just walk round the corner to the speedway? He works for a firm called, I believe, Judge or Judge Brothers (some variant on Judge, anyway!). The company produces and retails all manner of auto oils and liquids. Edit: In fact it's Justice Brothers, Inc. Near enough the first time! Edited January 26, 2009 by Fourentee

You'd need to get into B'ham City first anyway, so might as well just get the train straight to W'ton. It would be quicker than the Metro. SteveEvans
Leigh Adams now added to Scott Nicholls, PK and Greg as the headliners so far. It's shaping up to be a good field and there are many places that have not yet been announced. Someone above mentioned what is Billy's job at present - its mentioned today on the official Wolves site - he works for Justice Bros. who I believe sell oil products. They currently sponsor a few American Speedway riders too.
