Bryn
Yours truly is here in Oz for a couple of months having arrived yesterday and, as usual when in Sydney, am stopping with Ron and Shona Malm who really are great folks. Now that surname might ring a bell with older fans for Ron's dad happens to be Alec Malm who rode for Glasgow many years back. Had hoped to meet up with him over Xmas but he can't make it alas. MIGHT be able to get him to answer some questions on this thread though so fire away and I'll see what I can do.

Welcome to Australia Bryn, I thought it was Arthur Malm, anyway Bluey Scott who lives up here in queensland and knew him in Scotland, told me he used to sign his autograph "Arthur Malm, full of charm!" He did arrive in England in a blaze of publicity and had a reall battle living up to the expectations.

I blame the combination of a 22 hour flight AND three Bundy & Cokes including one of Ron's "specials" last night!

Amazing to see Arthur Malm's name brought up-he crops up in a very old Stenners Annual I have-you sound like you are Welsh Bryn -so shouldn't your byline say bring back Newport, Neath or Cardiff speedways-Oz is a great country-almost as good as Canada(just kidding)
