JSR
Thinking of going to Leszno as a change from Bydgoszcz. Planning to stay in Poznan. Anybody any ideas on reasonably priced Hotels etc as the ones I have seen are either booked up or horrendously expensive. Want to be not too far out of town. We stayed at Hotel System last year which was a tram or taxi ride to the centre. Lovely clean hotel and 7% Okocim on tap.

Hi,stayed in Polonez Hotel about 3yrs ago, cheaper than most in Poznan.not exactly 5 star but it serves its purpose.no bar.show your passport at desk in casino which is in the same reception area, you can get a drink and i found there money exchange rates pretty good.they think you might spend it on the tables!.typical casino, free coffee and sandwiches served by some of the most beautiful women I have ever seen in Poland. polonez@orbis.pl
GARY POPPS
there is shortage of hotel rooms in Poznan that weekend due to the UN holding a conference on climate change.
Mateusz
there is shortage of hotel rooms in Poznan that weekend due to the UN holding a conference on climate change. They even cancelled all lectures/classes at Poznan universities and sent students home to host some conference guests in dorms. Which was a brilliant idea - having over 2 weeks off extra now Edited December 3, 2008 by Mateusz
