Oh how far we've come since 2001.

8 years on and we've got still got 6 SGPs, plus now 3 repeats in repeat countries (European, Scandinavian, and now god help us Nordic !!), and just 2 new markets than those since 2001, those Speedway hotbeds of Slovenia (3 tracks only) and Latvia (just 1 track to its name)

Just exactly what does the BSI Speedway business plan say ?

Time to make less = more I think !

Terenzano Italy - what can people tell us about this venue and has anyone got co-ordinates of the track so we can check it out on google earth please. I found something by the railway line but it looks huge and with no stands.

So - is this track close to hotels and a town with pubs by or do we need a car?

Which airports are the best to use?

Details - I need details - pretty please :lol::lol:

So does that mean a World Cup qualifier at Coventry again?! I know it only says GB (TBC) at the moment, but from what I understood Coventry was the only FIM rated stadium in the UK at the moment.

If it is, I'm not sure I could cope with the same GB torture we had this year!! :blink::(

Ah Terenzano ! Scene of my infamous collision in 2003 with a Porsche ! Wrote off my car and his ! Anyway nearest town is Udine (about 10km). There are quite a few good hotels, we stayed in the Best Western

Vojens?

Lunacy, BSI/IMG shoot themselves in the foot again.

IMG Thought Process

a) they wanted Australia, no-one wanted it there

B) they wanted Russia, it wasn't workable

c) Germany has gone wrong

d) Right then Olly where else can we hold this extra GP?

:lol: spot on Hazzman. What is this new GP to be called? In previous years we have had the second Swedish GP called the Scandinavian GP and the second Polish GP called the European GP. What's this extra Danish one to be called? Any suggestions?
