Ghostwalker
1. Nicki Pedersen 2. Hans Andersen 3. Jason Crump 4. Greg Hancock 5. Andras Jonsson 6. Leigh Adams 7. Gollob 8. Fredrik Lindgren 9. Holta 10. Nicholls 11. Emil S 12. Ulamek 13. Walasek 14. Harris 15. Bjerre  i think that lack of GP experience will make the newcomers struggle although they surely will while Lindgren who will do his second year will benfit from that he had a full gp season last year. I also hope/believe this is the last year we see the 3 "old boys" Leigh, Greg and Tomasz. its time for them to let go.
Parsloes 1928 nearly
It's hard to look past Nicki and Crumpy, nut I'd like to see both Gollob and Adams win it before they retire. They are right up there with the best riders never to win world titles. Â Though I guess (very) old-timers could have an argument for Jack Parker and especially Vic Duggan, there's really no doubt now that empirically (on the number of WC rostrum positions without ever finishing on top of it.. ), Gollob IS the best rider NEVER to be World Champ. Â Without the GPs he'd have two or three titles to his name for sure... I really hope, as you say, he can finally win the World title, he (and Poland as a whole) so deserves... But you could say that about for instance Tom Farndon...if it was a World Championship in those days and of course especially if it was held at New Cross being something of a one track pony,as someone who saw him in action hinted at recently....not that you would agree Norbold if........ bruno
I think Sajfudinov is going to be up there in the top 5 next year. I know its his first season in GPs but hes got so much talent and a joy to watch when ive seen him on the Polish speedway website. Cant wait to see him at Cardiff. Â heres a prediction for ya sajfudinov may well be a future gp star or even world champ but hes first time at cardiff he will be lucky to get 5.it may be exciting but it aint speedway as it should be more like hang on and hope

Starman2006
gollob clinches it in the final race and then retires.what a night in bydgoszcz that would be  Now that would be a real fitting climax to the GP series!. Although i still feel that if any man deserves to win a world championship its Leigh Adams. And i still feel that Scott Nicholls CAN finish in the top 6!!. Some of his performances and form last season was very good, he's just got to believe in himself, continue to show controlled agression in his races, and remember, there's four laps to a race, he hasn't got to do it all in the first lap, he's more than capable of winning races from the back!!. Although in the back of my mind, there.s a man called Pedersen, who will still take a hell of a lot of Shifting!!. INCOGNITO
1 Nicki Pedersen - only injury will stop him winning it again 2 Andreas Jonsson - Think this could be a good year for him 3 Jason Crump - Quality but not consistant 4 Leigh Adams - Enough semi finals and the odd win 5 Hans Andersen - Would like to see him higher, but think a few bad ones will cost him 6 Emil Saifutdinov - This kid will get better and better as it goes 7 Tomasz Gollob - Polish scores will keep him in the top 8 8 Fredrik Lindgren - Less mistakes than last year and more consistant 9 Rune Holta - The odd big score mixed with 4's and 5's 10 Greg Hancock - Herbie rides again, but looking rusty 11 Scott Nicholls - Too many mistakes and missed chances 12 Greg Walasek - Will be a suprise in a few rounds 13 Kenneth Bjerre - Good in places but lacking most times 14 Sebastian Ulamek - Some decent scores will save him finishing bottom 15 Chris Harris - Poor gating will cost him. Too many 1's and 0's  God, the GPs are so boring...! Looking at this (and no reason to doubt that any of the above isn't in fact likely to happen..), how can ANYBODY opt to part with any of their time, let alone money, to bother themselves with such a bankrupt (from a sporting or entertaining perspective) series...  Do yourself a favour and watch NL Speedway instead...: THAT'S where the action, excitement and unpredictability will be... Silver Bee
Yeah, watch national league if you want plenty of engine failures and wobbly falls but watch the GP's if you want to be bored. Â Jonsson or Nick Simmons? Hmmmm

Silver Bee
Pure comedy. You claim the national league is exciting because it's unpredictable. If I predict something, in your eyes, it won't be exicitng will it? Â Â

At the end of the day will the 2009 GP series be as dull as dishwater or will it be exciting..? Coz when I first started watching this sport the World Championship was so exciting there was NOTHING else in world sport to rival it... I'm sure NO-ONE would claim that about the SGP..: but come on, persuade me..: will ANYTHING exciting happen do you think..??!!
Rico
The dinosaurs won't listen to you SB - they're extinct (though the odd few seem to still have an ever weakening voice). Â I'm personally looking forward to another thrilling season of GP racing and wouldn't miss it for the world. Give me the best speedway riders in the world going hell for leather over a season long battle any day of the week. Â Rico
