Ah well , Thats like a double edged Sword for Bomber , I would have liked him to duck out for now and get his Career back on Track , something has gone amiss over the last Season, And I think it would have done him good to concentrate on his League stuff etc ....

He may not want a Wildcard anyway , Especially if you have to miss the EL this year ?

(If you suffer from GP itis ?)

QUOTE (sean b @ Nov 7 2008, 01:55 PM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}>
why is nicholls still in it hes never done anything good in gps, harris deserves another chance but this should be his last chance

Why does Harris deserve another chance, yes he has won 1 more GP than Nicholls but that has proved to be very much a flash in the pan.He performances this year have been patchy to say the least. At least Nicholls was in with a chance right up to the lasp GP so there is an arguement for his inclusion.Might be wrong but wasnt Harris a GP pick this season,Nicholls on the other hand got in on merit so he deserves a GP pick.

the 2 brit wild cards should have been Kennet and Woffinden!

Have you anything to back up that their worthy of GP spots?

Kennett was rather poor at Cardiff when leading and being passed with ease, so imo he isnt anywhere near ready for the GPs. As for Tai, he's only a boy, he wouldnt even be able to fund it let alone be up to the standard, as shown in the World U21 final.

We Brits should just think ourselves lucky to have two riders in, could so easily have been only one.

Should only be as one Harris scarcely deserves another go,interesting to see if he takes up this offer although one would presume that he has been sounded out but with the no GP rider rule in this country it will be interesting to see if Harris makes another failed attempt to ride in the GPs.Would he not be better becoming our no1 first then look to the GPs.

Being very patriotic I am over the moon that both Chris and Scott are back in the GP's.

Can now start looking and booking the ones we fancy attending.

Both, I think are in the last chance saloon this year with Scott nearing the end of his GP days and Chris out to prove he can be a top 8 rider.

Those that say that Kennett and Woofinden should be in are really only wearing hearts on their sleeves and I applaude you for that. We all have our favourites and support them all the way.

Brits travel well and at the end of the day it is a business as well as a world championship series.

BRING IT ON!!!! :lol::lol:

I am a Coventry/Bees supporter but have to agree about the general comments made re Chris Harris --- why oh why was he given a wildcard? He needs (in my humble opinion) time to sort himself out and prove that he is worthy of consideration for future G.P racing which I believe he will be GIVEN TIME.

I appreciate that this is not a thread about Bomber but are there any Bees fans out there wondering why he rarely aknowledges his fans when returning to the pits? A simple wave or smile would surely endear more of his fans towards him?:rolleyes:

Both a cpmplete waste of time IMHO far better riders about than these two has beens. Still I can now cancel my Sky Sports subs without fear of missing a Brit becoming World Champ

In a word (or several) Chris has had a cr*p year by his standards. His body language has shown that very clearly.

Im hoping that 2009 will see a new and re-juvinated Chris whether at Brandon or elsewhere.

Lets see what happens in March /April and start again. :)

I also hope Bomber has a more successful season in 2009 than he has this year ---- but most of all I hope he appreciates the loyal fans that have stood behind him and will allow his body language to reveal his!!!

Roll on 2009 whoever our team consists of (have kinda given up on Scotty returning but my fingers are stilled x! )
