Humphrey Appleby
This is terrible... who's going to risk going to a GP again? I remember people saying it after Gothenburg, and yet people did go again.

fatface
I had a bad experience with BSI this year. I wrote a very polite letter to Paul Bellamy complaining about the faulty big screen at this year's British Grand Prix. From our seats we could only see the faulty screen, not the functioning one. So we couldn't see the official results appearing, see the pits activity or see replays on the big screen. To be honest it had an effect on our enjoyment of the evening and I wrote to inform them of this and wondered if there would be a partial refund for our very expensive tickets. No, came the reply (from a secretary, not from the man himself)...simply stating that it wouldn't have taken away from our enjoyment of the evening. It did BSI, it bloody did. We and many others had that view and it was tough listening to the oohhs and arhhhs from he other end of th stadium as they showed replays and also embarrassing when you have t ask the person next to you - who came third!!! My money is just as good as theirs but they got more for it than I did!!! Edited November 5, 2008 by Sandie
Diesel
I don't think you would have got a refund, partial or not, from any event because of a malfunctioning screen. Seems like complaining for complaining's sake.
Sandie
I don't think you would have got a refund, partial or not, from any event because of a malfunctioning screen. Seems like complaining for complaining's sake. Which is why I wouldnt have even attempted to write a letter of complaint. However if you have equipment designed to enhance your enjoyment you would like to think that it works. When the location was chosen for the event it wasnt just chosen for the wide open space but for all the facilities that go along with it. And the cost of hiring that venue is reflected in this. So whilst I personally wouldnt write to complain I still have a level of expectation based on the amount of money I spend on my ticket purchased. 5 FURROW
Is this "See Tickets" fault or IMG/BSI? Fancy them letting all you hardcore GP fans down!! The problem all lies with See ticket so sorry to dissappoint you Trees you cannot have yet another pop at BSI why your bothering to post on this as its got nothing to do with you anyway but i suppose as i am as you call it a hardcore GP fan you get a thrill out of Pi** taking. On a more serious note for them that are waiting for a refund i yet again spoke to them today and they said that the money should be in your accounts after midnight tonight we will yet again will have to see but my credit card company said to me any further problems i was to have they will take my case on and retrive the money for me

fatface
I don't think you would have got a refund, partial or not, from any event because of a malfunctioning screen. Seems like complaining for complaining's sake. I think that's a bit unfair. I'm not really one of life's moaners. But I do think if you are forking out £50+ for an evening's entertainment. You expect to get the full monty. Going to Cardiff is not like a regular speedway meeting. My money pays for the pre-meeting entertainment, fireworks, big screens, light show...so if I don't actually get back what I am paying for, isn't it reasonable to expect some sort of rebate? I've been to every Cardiff GP bar one and have always had a great time. But this year, the lack of a big screen did impinge on that enjoyment. Just by going to Cardiff each year, myself and family have stuck around £2k in BSI's coffers. I'm a good customer and when I don't get what I pay for, then surely it's only fair I get some of that money back. No?
shazzybird
I remember going one year and the screen at the opposite end never worked ...... oh well I went to watch live speedway not televised that was how I saw it the screens are just a bonus really ...... when they work properly The problem all lies with See ticket so sorry to dissappoint you Trees you cannot have yet another pop at BSI why your bothering to post on this as its got nothing to do with you anyway but i suppose as i am as you call it a hardcore GP fan you get a thrill out of Pi** taking. Couldn't of put it better myself ...... getting very boring now, no doubt she'll tune in when the GPs are on tv., or .................. no wont go there AGAIN!!!! Old Saint
I contacted BSI some years ago about a problem at one of the GPs and, although it had nothing to do with them, I had a very quick reply from Paul Bellamy. From a purely personal point of view, I cannot fault BSI's customer relations in the slightest and would award them the highest praise. pwainwright
Got my money today. At last !! Lucky you I have sent an email to Paul Bellamy four time, rung twice and left messages copied email to IMF head office and all been ignored, still got no news on my "Goodwill Tickets re German Grand Prix" which I have now given up on so I would say there customer service is none existant. Deano
Lucky you I have sent an email to Paul Bellamy four time, rung twice and left messages copied email to IMF head office and all been ignored, With all due respect that could be the problem, I respond to the people I've heard from once maybe twice. Four, five or six times just gets right on my left tentacle and the ignore button gets pressed.
