Steve Shovlar
Just seen the forecast for Poole on Sunday. 3 pm. -1 degree C!!!! They reckon its not going to get above freezing all day. Bring a flask and make sure you have the right clothing on. ( Woolly Hat, scarf and gloves will be essential, on top of everything else!) Reckon there will a stampede for those indoor seats! Not a dig - but it makes me laugh - all you southern softies!!! Year in, year out - we line ourselves around the edge of the Newport track, open to the elements - Wind, rain and wet shale - and love every moment of it!! Southern softies!!!!! Halifaxtiger
You southerners don't like it cold eh! Come to think of it ya don't like water or dirt either. Edit:Lisa says "OY CHEEKY SOD!!!!!" Not a dig - but it makes me laugh - all you southern softies!!! Year in, year out - we line ourselves around the edge of the Newport track, open to the elements - Wind, rain and wet shale - and love every moment of it!! Southern softies!!!!! I'd say you two are the 'southern softies' I'll be there (all the way from God's own county), wrapped up and looking like the Michelin man. Its 24 years since I saw a speedway meeting at Poole.............. PS Is there any truth in the rumour that the 'all you can eat' Chinese restaurant has closed down for the day due to the Fen Tigers supporters that are going ? crazysue
Is there going to be updates for this meeting for those that cant come? Oh bugger ... I better organise something! I'm in rest mode here, barely reading the forum or talking speedway at the moment. Ok here goes, is there anyone going to this meeting who would be able to text updates to the updates site? If so, could you please either leave a message here or send me an email or pm. Thanks *I'm not going now.

LisaColette
Even if it is 4 degrees, it will feel colder anyway cos of the cold wind. Can't we add on another ten degrees - 14 degrees would suit me! Thats all my moaning for this year done now!
