Boggle
They should have been confirmed yesterday (22nd), at the FIM Congress taking place in South Africa Still no news though, and nothing was due to happen today as they were all on an excursion/jolly if you look at the calendar of events! Should hopefully be out tomorrow, the congress only has two more days to go, and the final day looks like they have another jolly planned for the evening, its a hard life for some! Ghostwalker
so two questions then. First where will the gp at september 26th be held? second where will event 2 of the SWC be held? Sweden or Britain and at what venue?

Sweden or Britain and at what venue? Curious Ghostwalker - WC I suspect will be Sweden - not sure hey could fill Coventry (or other FIM approved British track) after last years GB performances. Good to see the GP qualifier at Brandon though. Need to get diary out and check the dates I have already [encilled in and see if they match + add the rest!!! KevH
Interesting to see that the FIM seem to have relocated Gorican. Edited October 25, 2008 by KevH
Mama
It's not the first time KevH ... So maybe Gorican took the qualifier which should be organized in Poland??

Yes maybe, or the idea of holding the German GP in Poland may have given them a few ideas.
tyke
Not sure about Prague as 1st grand Prix. Whether is mixed in August when it normally is ??????? Pity as we normally go to this one, but not so sure now !!!!!!!!!!!!!
SCB
July/juillet 18 Final/finale Poland/Pologne LesznoI wonder if the Speedway Star will apologise to Subedei now? Also, how stupid does it make a number of people associated with Team Gb? Constantly banging on about it being at Coventry when the contract for Leszno was signed a few years ago now. And Prague Going to be cold and miserable. Always said the GP got in the way of a good weekend, I might still go in August any way. Richspeedway
Be interesting to see where the September GP will be at. Germany will be out of the question, Russia? Norway? I am surprised the Swedish GP is on that track again after this year, lets hope they sort the surface out this time.
smartace
could the mystery GP be Togliatti ????
iris123
September GP could be Gorican also Or wouldn't it make sense to have two GPs in neighbouring countries one after the other?Have heard on the grapevine though, that Gorican want to host a GP.I thought it would be instead of Krsko though
Richspeedway
Not sure as the one after it says it is Italy. I did expect a addition one with Australia but not another one as well.
Richspeedway
I remember hearing Russia wanted to hold one but probably not till 2010. I guess Norway would be a no goer as Holta is now a Pole and there no top riders sadly there anymore.

About Gothenburg BSI/IMG signed a three year contract with them so no matter how crapppy the track is they will comeback for 2009 and 2010. She said that BSI was planning to arrange a GP in Hungary 2008. As everybody knows, the 2008 GP-series didnt include a GP in Hungary but it might do it 2009. So I go for Miskolc. I would love to go to Stadion Puskás Ferenc in Budapest, but I guess the interests of speedwya might be bigger in Miscolc. But instead of Lonigo I can imagine myself watching speedway in this small stadium: http://www.yeshotelrome.com/hotels-accommo...StadiumRome.jpg
