Rob B
Anyone get the impression like me that Hancock was saying in his speech that he was thinking of retiring. If that was the case Nicholls wouldn't need wild card.

iris123
From the Swedish tv expert it seem's more about the Aussie GP Australia is what i thought he was talking about rather than retiring. That and obviously the riders wanting to have a bit more say in things/be consulted i would guess after last weeks fiasco
colincooke
Greg was having a constant dig at last weeks debacle too, & rightly so.

Was also funny how the Sky team really swept it all under the carpet. Sort of...."Someone refered to the Gelsenkirchen meeting as a fiasco. But it has given us a great meeting tonight. The track might slicken off a bit though..........." salty
Amazing how quick Gelsenkirchen is being airbrushed from history. The GP's would be much the poorer without Hancock. Yet again this season he has shown that he is capable of mixing it at the very top of the sport.
M08
I for one hopes he doesn't retire. Greg is certainly still up there in the top 5 riders in the world, and if anything we need him back in the Elite League. Be a Monster, Greg. rabbit
Amazing how quick Gelsenkirchen is being airbrushed from history. Did we really expect anything different? They seem to think if they forget it, then so will everyone else. Wrong.

UnitedUnitedUnited
I hope he does retire...as would be a shame to see him slip lower than 4th in the world, end it on a high....I would
Parsloes 1928 nearly
Or even the top 4 riders in the world. Or even "the top four riders allowed to compete in the Grand Closed Shop"...!!!!

salty
Hancock was dischuffed because he knew giving Gollob yet another ‘home’ GP meant his chances of keeping third had been severely dented and of course that’s exactly how it panned out. And before the usual suspects start bleating about there not being a ‘home’ advantage explain how Harris can only score double figures in 3 GP and 2 of those were at Cardiff. Slight difference between Harris and Gollob in terms of home advantage. One was riding on a track that he knows like the back of his hand having been riding it for years. The other was riding on a one-off surface for the first time - albeit in front of a "home" crowd.
Ron Butler
Did we really expect anything different? They seem to think if they forget it, then so will everyone else. Wrong. Memories of Bill Shakespeare are aroused, Bunny. Could this, perhaps, be a modern application of the evil a man does living on after him and the good being interred with his bones? Ron.
