Must admit the drink aint good, but Greg is a genuine nice guy and a mate.

So nothing to do with what he brings to the series, you're just pi$$ed your buddy screwed up getting third place. Fair enough.

I enjoyed the meeting but was left with the impression that there was a lot more going on than was immediately apparent.

Wonder what was behind Greg Hancock's comment that "there was a lot going on behind the scenes" so he would wait and see what happens about next year?

Swedish commentator Peter Nahlin said that it could be the deal with a possible Australian Gp and that many riders

considered it to expensive to go there to ride and that may not be worth it for them.

No more pi$$ed that him and the rest were well stitched up, although apparently fair play means very little to you??????????????

Watched most of the GP tonight but could have declared that would be the result last weekend after it was decided that it would be in Poland this week!

Ok Gollob was superb but in Germany I doubt he would have been anywhere near as effective. Greg has been shafted by Olsen and whoever else made the decision last week. Can fully understand why he is so cheesed off. Hancock is usually very good on the temporary tracks where is is not just about speed and I reckon would have been a cert for a semi final berth while I don't reckon Gollob would have made it that far in Germany.

I also wonder whether Nicki was really fit last week after some of the comments made by commentary, but then again it was Pearson and Tatum! Another week suited him just fine.

In my opinion the only thing that would have had the same result is that Holta would still have claimed 8th spot from Nicholls who I suppose will still get a WC next year.(Wild Card that is and not a World Championship!)

All in all a great.........

So Drew, I trust you are not suggesting that all SGPs should be on temporary tracks to assist Greg to win the WC (World Championship - not Wild Card) again, lol......?

Possibly, if no temporary tracks had been introduced into the SGP, then TG would have gained the title that his talent on a speedway bike deserves - imo.

Well done to Rune for his direct entry into the SGP next season and his GP win this. Maybe if Mr Nicholls could get his head, bikes, riding and back up team together, he may win a GP and gain automatic entry in future.

Is it any great mystery? The last time round, I think the Aussie GP organisers paid for shipping the riders' equipment from London, but the riders had to get it there are their own expense.

Normally travel expenses for a rider and his crew also have to come out of the prize money, but obviously the crap prize money wouldn't hardly cover the air fares out to Australia. I seem to recall that some additional allowance was paid last time around, but again there were whinges this was insufficient.

Don't blame Gollob for one minute, blame BSI and Mr Olsen.

When was last time anyone saw Greg so depressed??

It was a banker if he didn't win the GP only disaster would see him leave without the money.

So Greg finished on the Bydgoszcz rostum twice in 2 gps, maybe they should not have a gp next year as its not fair on all the others.

Thought it was not a bad meeting once it warmed up . Would rather watch a Bydgoszcz GP than one on some nonsense temporary track anyday .

But i see in your "tracks visited" Cardiff is listed whereas Bydgoszcz isn't :lol:

Well Pedersen didn't seem too bothered about touching the tapes.

Are we suggesting that the 4 riders agreed to split the SuperGP pot, like they used to in the days of the old 2nd half finals?

I was interested to see Nicki storm the tapes and Jason checking out something with Holta and TG before the re-run.

I guess a guaranteed 1/4 of the total pot would make that an interesting suggestion.....?

With Gollob off two Nicki's only chance was a flyer. He went for it and lost.

According to the stats white and yellow had won the most races, Pedersen is no match for Gollob, when he has a night like tonight. He knows that as well as every one watching does

Nicki probably didn't want to take Gollob's charity. He knew he shouldn't have been in that race and didn't care. :approve: Can you tell I'm a fan?:D

Yes, but as has been suggested, it may also have been because the 4 of them decided to split the 'pot' beforehand....?
