dantodan
I have 5 webpages showing dozens of old Speedway Bikes. To improve the webpages, my knowledge of the machinery needs to be backed up by a speedway mechanic. If you can help send me an email jskinner06@btinternet.com

Tim. Hi Tim, I found the site not long ago and there are some great shots of some restored bikes on there. I tried to submit a photo, but I can't seem to get it to work, nothing happens when I hit on the " webmaster" tab. Is there an email address that I can use to send something in? Thanks

Thanks I,ve just clicked on it, and it works for me. Above "Webmaster" there is "Ask us HERE". If you click on that, it should give you Dave # Name Removed #'s email contact. Failing that, try d.# Name Removed #@arpolith.co.uk Having said all that, none of us are experts anyway, but we would like to see your pictures. All the best, Tim. Dutch
Thanks Tim will give that a go...cheers Hi Dantodan. Just had a look at your site "Defunctspeedway" and I noticed that you claim the copyright for it. I wonder why because how many of the bike- and machines photos are actualy made by yourself. Most of the bikephotos on your site I already found on the internet, and in better quality. The photo from the James V Twin /1949 Langton Jap / early Jawa / 1951 Eso / 1967 Erskine Jap / FIS / Husqvarna / and the 1930 Crocker are for sure not made by you, because they are from me. You asked on your site for information about a "Simandl" machine. Jaroslav Simandl was the man that started making ESO bikes. but the very first ones he named just Simandl. On the old site "The Workshop" you can find the full story.
cpbyles
Hi Dantodan. Just had a look at your site "Defunctspeedway" and I noticed that you claim the copyright for it. I wonder why because how many of the bike- and machines photos are actualy made by yourself. I too have to endorse that point. I did mail you Dan some time ago about pictures used off the Workshop site that I had personally taken. No one minds sharing information, but credit where credit is due .... oh yes, and maybe being polite enough to respond and ask the owner if it's ok to use them.
