srbramble
Tai didn't ride at Coventry so we don't know how he would have performed against our track specialists. Also. we're not claiming that Oli Allen and Simon Stead have acheived more than nearly every other rider ever in 1 season so perhaps you shouldn't brand others idiots without being able to conduct a coherent argument with us. Woffinden is a great prospect, yes, but your original post claiming very few have acheived what Woffinden has in 1 season is complete rubbish. Dear oh dear. Unfortunately, you are mistaken there, me old china. It is indeed yourself, who makes statements without qualifying your argument, whereas, if you look at my reasoning in this debate, you will find that at least I can back my opinion up with decent points. And, many more agree with me on this subject, than you. Night night. Edited October 6, 2008 by srbramble
srbramble
Just out of interest why do you feel the need to insult people to emphasise your point? You come across as a poor mans Subedei. Rude? Thats nothing pal. And you follow up your point, with an insult to me. Now, you ARE an idiot.

Night night. If you and "many more" think Tai should be in GP's, then I'll happily be an idiot or any other names you wish to call me for thinking he should not be. Personally, I don't believe you have proved yet that Tai is ready for the GP's, just listed a lot of great achievements for a 17/18 year old lad in his 2nd season of racing. Sadly, the GP's are not solely for 17 and 18 year old but everyone and there are many better riders than Tai at present who would make him look silly in the GP's 95% of the time. No doubt you'll come back with "decent points" like brining Olly Allen and Simon Stead into a discussion on Tai's GP chances, talk about trying to change the topic of discussion, it's a well known trick that someone losing an arguement trys to pull. Tai Woffinden for the GPs?! Don't make me laugh.

And, many more agree with me on this subject, than you. Night night. I've already suggested 2 riders who have acheived more than Tai in the last 2 years 'me old china.' I've made decent points suggesting plenty of riders have achieved what Tai has, without rubbishing Tais season. You on the other hand choose to insult me and ignore any reasoned argument put forward for Tais season not being as great as you wish to make out. This season for example, Pavlic achieved and 8 point EL average, got himself a medal in the world under 21's and reached the final of the world championship qualifier. Although, yet again, you'll probably choose to ignore examples of riders that have achieved more than Woffy has in 1 season. Woffy has had a great season, I've never doubted that. My issue was with your initial post suggesting that few riders have ever done what Woffinden has, when they clearly have. You rant and rave on like a fool. Just viewed your profile picture. Got the impression that you were much younger than that. So I post that Tai shuold not be in the GP's, as do a few others, you lauch into us with abuse and then ask me if I can read and then claim you don't think he should be in the GP's. So you admit that althought you agree with me and the other who said Tai should not be in the GP's that you still felt the need to argue. LOL. I have NEVER rubbished Tai achievements, I've just tried to put them into perspective, they're not that of a GP rider.

Firstly I am neither your pal nor an idiot. As for the remark regarding Sub it was meant as a light hearted comment, not an insult. Believe me if I wanted to insult you I could do much better than that.
RPNY
Now now people let's all calm it a little Can anyone answer as to why Tai had such a bad day at the office? Cos one thing is for sure, he certainly should be scoring more points then Willy Lawson & Bridger. Was it engine probs or the occasion getting to him? Any insider info? RPNY
I see where you are comming from but I think most people would agree Tai is better then both of them. My original post was just asking why he had such a bad day..

RPNY
Who knows, reading through the thread it seems he lost interest after an early tapes exclusion. Tks.. A little weird he would do that. Well maybe a reality check might be good in the long run. But to be fair he has done nothing to suggest that he believes his own hype. Seems quite grounded. As for the remark regarding Sub it was meant as a light hearted comment, not an insult. Believe me if I wanted to insult you I could do much better than that. Was it really? Of course it was an insult, otherwise why put " a poor mans Sub"? Suggests an insult to me, and no amount of backtracking by you says otherwise. Which makes you no better than anyone else, so no need to get on you high horse. If you want to trade out and out insults, then I'm not going to indulge you, but if you want an intelligent debate on our sport, then lets go. But then again, as I suspect, you can't do intelligent. Silver Bee
He's not interested in 'intellectual debating' anyway. His whole reply to my point, which ironicly he's struggled to understand after telling other people to read, was based around Stead, Allen and calling me an idiot.
