nigelb
Great race by Noddy there. Thought he might have been a bit deflated after losing the title in his last race but showed what a fantastic rider he is by producing that after Pavlic left him nothing a couple of times. Tai shud take a leaf out of his book by not chucking the towel in like he clearly did after his tapes exclusion. He'll learn tho i'm sure & will come back bigger & better next yr. For me, Noddy & Emil have 2 be in the GP's as wildcards next yr surely?? Both young exciting & very fast so think they'd both ruffle some feathers of the big boys. Tai is not ready yet. Needs at least one season In Elite League like Holder this yr. Wud do him power of good & then hopefully a wildcard in 2010. or he could just focus on riding abroad = like Emil! Silver Bee
More than Sitera ! To be honest that's really nothing to write home about. As 21st CH, SCB and others will mention, I really don't rate him. At all. Nothing to do with him being a wolves asset, is it?! Idiot. Not at all. I'd just like to know what he's apparently acheived in this one season? A decent PL average, the PLRC and a ride in the SWC? Saifuditnov acheived the world under 21 world championship and a world cup performance last season with good averages in the Swedsh and Polish leagues too, and the same again this season. Holder didn't win the PLRC but has acheived an 8 point EL average in 1 season and that's just 2 riders who have done the business in the last couple of years. Not many though, eh? spanner47
Just a thought. Who the majority of folk would prefer to see in next years g.p. series? The top 3 from this, or the top 3 from that thing in poland.
Bagpuss
Tai's inexperience was shown up last night but there is no doubt that his time will come in this competition. And he is still trememdously talented whatever anyone may say. Personally I would love to see the top three in next year's GP series but thats another debate entirely! Sure is, the GP series needs these youngsters more than they need the GP series at the mo, perhaps IMG will have to start dishing out more of the dosh/facilities if they want them to race for them! What are you on about? I am sure they would all bite the man from BSI's hand off for a place in the GP's.Sajfutdinov has already said as much.Pavlic will probably get a place soon as it seems his track wil be getting a GP in the next couple of years. And in his case,it could be the other way round. The "dosh" as you put it might be coming from Croatia as it almost certainly is from Russia.Have you seen the fotos of their track? As someone that watches Tai regularly in the Polish League the hype surrounding him really gets on my nerves. He is regularly beaten by the Polish youngsters, thats not to say he isn't a decent prospect which he clearly is. But not yet in the class of Emil and Holder. Now if he goes on to average over eight in Poland, England and Sweden next season that's a different matter.
Trees
He's not been brought up on bleeding Polish tracks, what do you expect, give the boy a chance! Bagpuss
I think you have hit the nail on the head mate; too much hype from people who should know better. People should be excitied by Tai for what he is going to achieve over the next two to three years, not sooner than that really. He is obviously not ready for the GP's yet and the wallys on Sky should realise that.

Precisely mate, don't get me wrong Tai is a wonderful prospect and will I'm sure give British speedway a much needed shot in the arm over the next five years. But must be left to progress under the excellent guidance of his Dad and not have the hopes of a nation heaped upon his shoulders by the likes of the screaming imbecile and his side kick. SCB
No, not many at all, and both are foreigners. Tais' record speaks for itself. I guess youre just ignorant. Yes, his record at PL level It makes me laugh that Silver Bee is the ignorant one but you probably don't have a clue what Tai is doing any where other than Rye House. He's not doing a lot in Poland. Tai is a good rider, he'll be a superb rider one day but at present he's only just on the radar and is having far to much pressure heaped on him. and the "his gating lets him down" line, yeah, like it did Sajfutdinov? Stone last twice, still managed to take the win. The scary thing is, he's only a few months older than Tai.

I guess your view is totally unbiased! Suppose i'm the same with chris holder, but i wish people would stop over-hyping tai. Its not gonna do him any favours. They've done it with kennett, then bridger and now tai - who's next, i wonder.

He performed better for his country than your 2 track specialists, both british. You also compare him to very exceptional talents, which is slightly unfair, considering the experience both riders have compared to Tai. Idiot. If anything, it is the content of your post, that suggests you don't have a clue.

Yes and there's plenty of hype coming from Denmark, Sweden and Poland and when some of them come over here you just wonder what they hell have they achieved - Emil is a Great Rider as we've witnessed on the Polish TV Speedway Channel, he had a good meeting last year @ Rye but that was the only time we've seen him here, would he be able to do it on a regular basis, WHO KNOWS. Plenty of hype about Nicholls and Harris but what have they achieved NOTHING (Cardiff 2007 HARRIS exception). Both should now be out of the GP's along with a few others.
